Lexicon Institute of Hotel Management (Lexicon IHM), Pune, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mr. Gurmeet Singh as the new Principal. A distinguished figure in the hospitality industry, Mr. Singh brings over 30 years of invaluable experience in human resources across various esteemed global hospitality chains. His extensive network and profound expertise are set to greatly benefit both the students and faculty of Lexicon IHM.
Mr. Singh's career began in the army, where he honed a disciplined and dedicated approach to his work. After his service, he transitioned into the hospitality industry, taking on leadership roles in the Human Resources departments of luxury hotel brands such as ITC and Marriott International. Notably, he was the first person hired by Marriott International in Mumbai, India, where he quickly established a reputation for setting high standards. His expertise in talent management and development will significantly enhance the educational experience at Lexicon IHM, equipping students with the practical skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the fast-paced hospitality industry.
Mr. Nasir Shaikh, former CEO of The Lexicon Group of Institutes, expressed his enthusiasm for this new chapter in Lexicon IHM's journey. Mr. Shaikh regards Mr. Singh as both a senior and a mentor, acknowledging the invaluable guidance and wisdom he has imparted over the years.
