Marriott International and Eagle Hills have announced a partnership to open the first Ritz-Carlton Reserve in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This new luxury property, set to debut on Ramhan Island in Abu Dhabi, will provide a secluded and serene escape with breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf.

Sandeep Walia, Chief Operating Officer for the Middle East at Marriott International, expressed excitement about this project, saying, “Together with Eagle Hills, we look forward to bringing Ritz-Carlton Reserve to the UAE and offering intimate and transformative experiences in an ultra-luxury setting. Ramhan Island, currently under development, is poised to become a premier destination for travelers seeking unparalleled luxury and natural beauty in the UAE. Spanning over 4 million square meters, this exclusive location will feature a natural island connected by waterways, forming a fully integrated waterfront community. It will host charming residential villas, marina residences, and luxury hotels, offering state-of-the-art amenities for residents and tourists alike.

Scheduled to open in 2029, the Ritz-Carlton Reserve on Ramhan Island will include 50 private luxury villas ranging from one to four bedrooms, with the region’s first floating villas offering unobstructed waterfront views. The development will also feature a variety of lavish leisure amenities and multiple culinary venues.
