Lemon Tree Hotels, one of India's prominent hotel chains, has announced the signing of a new property in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. It is situated 90 kilometres from the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, and only 11 kilometres from the Meerut railway station. The city's connectivity is further enhanced by its proximity to the National Expressway 3 and the under-construction Delhi Meerut RapidX, a Regional Rapid Transport System (RRTS), which is expected to significantly reduce travel time between Meerut and the capital.
