Minor Hotels, in collaboration with Ares Management, plans to rebrand Reethi Beach Resort as NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort. The revamped property is expected to reopen in late 2025 after an extensive renovation.
The 129-key resort is situated on a lush island in Hanifaru Bay, Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Known for its vibrant marine life, the location is home to manta rays, whale sharks, and turtles, and is accessible via a 35-minute seaplane ride from Velana International Airport in Male. Reethi Beach Resort will operate until April 25, 2025, before closing for a six-month renovation, the largest in the resort's 25-year history. This transformation will include upgrades to villas, dining outlets, and leisure facilities, while maintaining the island’s natural beauty.
The NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort will feature a mix of on-land and overwater villas. With 10 diverse food and beverage outlets—including all-day dining, specialty restaurants, and bars—the resort aims to provide something for every taste. The property will offer a variety of water activities like diving, snorkeling, and fishing, along with land amenities such as a spa, fitness center, and courts for tennis, badminton, and squash.

We look forward to unveiling the reimagined NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort in late 2025.

The rebranded resort will join Minor Hotels' other properties in the Baa Atoll, including Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas and Avani+ Maldives Fares Resort, providing guests with accessible ways to explore one of the Maldives’ richest marine ecosystems. NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort will be Minor Hotels' ninth property in the Maldives and the second NH Collection property, alongside NH Collection Maldives Havodda Resort, which opened in 2023 in Ghaafu Dhaalu Atoll.

Araiya Hotels and Resorts has expanded its footprint with the addition of Amaraya Resort to its Araiya Anthology collection, marking another step in its growth across key leisure destinations in India.
Set in the peaceful Himalayan foothills near Nainital, the newly added retreat offers a quiet and intimate stay experience. Spread across 2.5 acres of terraced orchards, Amaraya is designed as a boutique escape with just 11 thoughtfully designed suites.
True to the brand’s design-led approach, each suite blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings, offering mountain views, ample natural light, and a smooth connection between indoor comfort and the outdoors. The property reflects Araiya’s focus on creating spaces that feel both refined and rooted in their location.

ITC Hotels has expanded its experiential brand Storii with the signing of Storii Mukundgarh Fort, further strengthening its presence in Rajasthan.

Kerten Hospitality is set to enter the Indian market as part of its next phase of global growth, bringing its portfolio of lifestyle-driven hotel brands to the country.
With a strong presence across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa, the Ireland-headquartered group is planning to introduce its concepts in India with an initial target of 1,000 keys. This move marks a major step in its expansion strategy, as the company looks to tap into India’s growing demand for experience-led hospitality.
