Shoib brings over 15 years of hospitality experience, with a strong track record in driving business growth and enhancing guest experiences. His most recent position was as Director of Sales and Marketing at the JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort and Spa.

Shoib's career with Marriott spans nine years, during which he played a significant role in increasing revenue across rooms, food, and beverage at the JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru. Before joining Marriott, he held key roles at prestigious properties such as The Leela Palace Bangalore, Le Meridien Paro Riverfront in Bhutan, and Ginger Hotels, a brand under the Tata Group. His achievements include winning the DOSM of the Year South Zone award from Business World Hotelier in 2019.

Known for his expertise in marketing strategies, project management, and team development, Shoib is expected to contribute significantly to the operational success of The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat. His focus will be on improving service standards and guest satisfaction at the property. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Shoib is passionate about mental and physical wellness, having spent time in Bhutan where he developed a love for trekking and wellness counseling.
