The vibe is the same, but the flavours are fresher than ever. Monkey Bar, one of Bengaluru’s most iconic hangout spots, has dropped an all-new menu at its Museum Road address—and it’s exactly the delicious reset we didn’t know we needed.
Known for its effortlessly cool energy and signature high-ceilinged space, Monkey Bar remains the place for impromptu reunions, casual dates, long lunches, and every kind of get-together that deserves great food and even better memories. Now, with its latest menu refresh, the gastropub is mixing comfort with creativity.
What’s New?
Monkey Bar’s updated spread continues to do what it does best: hearty, inventive, and familiar food with bold flavour profiles. The new menu features:
Tuna Cutlet and Chicken Tsukune for those who like their bar bites with a twist.
Classic Paneer Tikka and Hariyali Fish Tikka, delivering desi comfort in every bite.
Cheese Burger for the purists, and Loaded Keema Wedges for those who like their comfort food spicy.
Military Mutton Biryani – a robust, nostalgia-packed dish that’s already winning hearts.
Mutton Kofta & Appam – an unexpected and delightful marriage of Mughlai and coastal flavours.
Hummus & Pita for Mediterranean simplicity done right.
And that’s not counting Monkey Bar’s all-time favourites still on the menu – from flatbreads and bowls to street food mashups and clever cocktails.
A Familiar Favourite, Evolved
While the food’s been upgraded, the soul of Monkey Bar hasn’t changed. It’s still the same ‘living room of the city’ that Bengalureans turn to when they want good food, easy laughter, and great music in the background. The new additions make it even more inviting—whether you’re showing up solo for a snack and a pint or bringing your entire crew for a night out.

In a city known for its evolving food culture, Cahoots is a new name that’s quietly making waves on Brigade Road—not just as a restaurant and cocktail bar, but as a space that celebrates Bangalore’s past and present in every detail. Spread across 7,500 sq. ft. with a seating capacity of 250, this place is big, but somehow still feels like a warm secret.
Walk in, and you're met with dark wood tones, soft lighting, hidden nooks, and a vintage-inspired design that feels both classic and playful. Every corner seems to have a story waiting to be discovered and that’s exactly what Cahoots aims to offer: stories on plates and in glasses.
The highlight? The Classified Cocktail Collection, curated by renowned mixologist Yangdup Lama. This menu features 12 signature cocktails, each inspired by Bangalore’s local quirks and cultural memories. For instance, the Scandal in the South mixes moringa-infused white rum with a twist of sambar cordial, while the Daylight Robbery surprises with a tomato basil gin kicked up with habanero tincture.
“It’s a little secret, a nod to Bangalore’s streets and flavours,” Lama explains.
But it’s not just the cocktails doing the talking. Chef Vikram Udaygiri leads the kitchen with a menu that reinterprets Bangalore's food stories in a bold, modern way. Try the Vegan Tofu Puliyogare Arancini, which brings a crispy twist to a beloved South Indian rice dish, or the Mysore Masala Kulchette with Mutton Keema, which blends temple-town flavours with rich spice.
There’s also the Congress Crostini and Bhoot Jolokia Firecracker Tacos, playful dishes that pair Karnataka street snacks with global cooking techniques, proving local can be inventive too. Though the influences range from Indian and Asian to European, the soul of the food remains rooted in Bangalore.
“We didn’t want to just open a place, we wanted to tell a story that feels familiar,” say founders Amogha Varsha and Suresh Shetty. “Cahoots is for those who’ve grown up with Bangalore in their blood and those just beginning to fall in love with it.”
Even the name Cahoots sets the tone, it means a secret shared, a friendly whisper, a bit of mischief. And that’s what the space is: an experience that feels personal and memorable. It's not about trends or franchises; it’s about slowing down, savouring every bite and sip, and feeling right at home.
Cahoots isn’t just a restaurant. It’s a quiet celebration of everything Bangalore was, is, and continues to be—served with a twist, and always with a story.
