New Culinary Director Joins Radisson Blu Pune Hinjawadi

Radisson Blu Pune Hinjawadi is excited to introduce Chef Sachin Talwar as the Director of Culinary. With a rich and diverse culinary background, Chef Talwar brings a wealth of experience from around the world and across India to his new role.

Chef Sachin Talwar’s journey in the culinary world is deeply rooted in his family's heritage. Although his family originally hails from the Sindh region, Chef Talwar’s grandfather relocated them to West Bengal. His passion for the culinary arts led him to pursue a degree in hotel management at The International Institute of Hotel Management in Calcutta, where he successfully graduated in 2000.

During his college years, Chef Talwar’s talent and dedication were recognized by Trident Udaipur, where he received comprehensive training in both European and Indian cooking techniques, with a special focus on the French culinary tradition.

Following this invaluable experience, he joined the pre-opening team of the Babylon Group of Hotels, a 5-star hotel located in Raipur. Subsequently, he became part of the Fortune group, starting as a Sous-Chef at the Fortune Murali Park property in Vijayawada and worked his way up to Chef in Charge.

Chef Talwar continued to make his mark in the culinary world, moving on to the DoubleTree by Hilton group (now Four Points by Sheraton), where he played a pivotal role in the pre-opening of the property as the Executive Chef. He then embarked on a five-year journey with Lemon Tree hotels, serving as the Senior Executive Chef, focusing on cuisine spanning the American, Indian, and European traditions.

From March 2015 to December 2017, Chef Talwar held the prestigious position of Executive Chef at Welcomhotel Bengaluru. Later, he was appointed as the Executive Chef at Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia Resort from December 2017 to January 2019. His most recent assignments included positions at Hyatt Regency Lucknow and IAM Institute of Hotel Management as the Director of Operations.

On his appointment, Chef Talwar expressed his excitement, stating, “I am thrilled to embark on this culinary journey with my new team. The LaLiT New Delhi has announced the appointment of Vishal Sharma as its new General Manager. Bringing over 18 years of experience across sales, marketing, and hotel operations, Vishal adds a strong commercial edge and leadership depth to the iconic luxury hotel in New Delhi.

Vishal started his hospitality journey with Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces and went on to take up senior sales and marketing roles at leading properties such as The Imperial New Delhi, The Claridges New Delhi, and Radisson MBD Noida. His association with the brand is long-standing, having earlier served as Head of Sales at The LaLiT New Delhi, followed by his role as National Head of Sales (Business Hotels) at The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group.

Most recently, Vishal was Director of Sales and Marketing at IHG Crowne Plaza New Delhi Rohini. He was also part of the IHG EMEAA General Manager Development Programme 2025, further strengthening his leadership credentials.

His experience covers key account management, business development, and market expansion across competitive regions. Ashwini Alpesh Taware joins with more than a decade of experience across corporate sales, travel trade, events, and MICE. She has been associated with brands like Lemon Tree Hotels, Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Nashik, Royal Orchid & Regenta Hotels, and The Orchid Hotel Mumbai. Having worked at both property-level and national sales offices, she understands client expectations and market trends closely.

With close to three decades of experience in luxury hospitality, Rana brings with him a strong professional foundation shaped by his tenure across several renowned hotel brands. His career includes stints at Park Hyatt Hotels, Grand Hyatt Mumbai, Grand InterContinental, Le Royal Meridien, and The St. Regis. Over the years, his work has been defined by a disciplined approach to global cuisines, with a sharp focus on authenticity, precision, and guest satisfaction.
