Exciting news for travelers between India and Switzerland! Air India is set to launch direct flights from Delhi to Zurich starting June 16th, 2024. This new route expands Air India's European network, offering passengers more convenience and flexibility for their journeys.
The service will operate four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. With a two-class configuration – Economy and Business – passengers can expect a comfortable travel experience.
The new route caters to the increasing demand for travel between India and Switzerland. With over 250 Swiss companies operating in India, and a growing Indian diaspora of nearly 18,000 in Switzerland, these flights will serve both business and leisure travelers.
Air India's expansion into Zurich marks its seventh European destination. Passengers from southern Germany and western Austria will also benefit from the non-stop option to Delhi, with onward connections to destinations across Air India's growing route network.
This announcement comes after the Tata Group's takeover of Air India in 2022, signaling a revitalization of the airline. By expanding its network and offering modern aircraft, Air India aims to become a more competitive player in the global aviation market.
Zurich, known for its stunning Alpine scenery and vibrant culture, is a popular destination for Indian travelers. The new direct flights are expected to boost tourism between India and Switzerland, allowing passengers to explore the best of both countries.
Bookings for flights to Zurich are now open across various channels, including Air India's website, mobile app, travel agents, and online travel agents. Don't miss out on the opportunity to experience the convenience and comfort of Air India's new Delhi-Zurich service.
With the launch of direct flights between Delhi and Zurich, Air India continues to enhance connectivity and provide travelers with more options for their journeys. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, these non-stop flights offer a seamless travel experience between India and Switzerland. Get ready to explore Zurich's charm and beauty with Air India's new service starting June 16th, 2024.
