New Partnership Brings Indigo Restaurant to Alibaug's 'The A: Alibaug' Project

A partnership has been formed between the House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL Arcade Private Ltd) and Indigo Hospitality to launch a restaurant project in Alibaug. The restaurant is scheduled to open in the early part of the next fiscal year and will be located in the 'The A: Alibaug' project developed by the House of Abhinandan Lodha. The collaboration aims to stimulate development in the entire area, as the presence of the Indigo restaurant is expected to enhance the dining experience for consumers.

The restaurant, tentatively named 'Indigo at Alibaug', will span an area of 5,200 square feet. The CEO of the building company, Samujjwal Ghosh, expressed their goal of providing customers with a holistic experience and emphasized that Indigo's popularity aligns well with the desired fine-dining experience in Alibaug. Anurag Katriar, the founder of Indigo Hospitality, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the shared commitment to creating memorable moments for patrons.

Indigo Hospitality currently operates eight outlets in Mumbai, including Neel, Indigo Cafe, and Indigo Burger Project. The National Restaurant Association of India reported a decline of 53% in the food services industry in FY21, with an estimated worth of ₹2,00,762 crore compared to ₹4,23,624 crore in FY2020. However, a recovery and growth are anticipated for FY22, with expectations of the sector reaching ₹4,72,285 crore. The industry employs approximately 73 lakh people and significantly contributes to employment in the economy. The NRAI represents around five lakh restaurants and has an industry value of about ₹4,00,000 crore.
