On2Cook India Pvt Ltd, the masterminds behind the world's fastest cooking device, has achieved another milestone by being recognized as India’s first Intellectual Property (IP)-driven kitchen company. This honor was bestowed at the Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) Industrial Intellectual Property Awards 2024 during their Annual Summit on Technology, which spotlighted Intellectual Property and Industry-Academia Partnerships.

This recognition cements On2Cook's reputation as a pioneer in culinary technology, supported by 14 patents secured across India, the US, European Union, Russia, and the UK. Highlighting the significance of this achievement, Sanandan Sudhir, the inventor of the revolutionary AI-based cooking device, remarked, “In a nation of 1.4 billion people and nearly 1 crore registered MSMEs, On2Cook is leading the way as one of India’s first IP-driven companies in the kitchen space. We aim to set even bigger benchmarks with 20+ more patent applications filed globally."

On2Cook's innovative device combines microwave, induction, and flame technologies with advanced AI features like automated stirring and controlled ingredient additions. The device reduces cooking time by 70%, saves 50% energy, and retains more water-soluble nutrients than traditional cooking methods. Rigorous safety tests have been conducted following critical standards like IEC 60335-2-6 and IEC 60335-2-25 for microwave and induction safety, ensuring reliability.

The recognition at the CII Awards is the latest in a series of accolades for On2Cook. The device has previously won the 'Best Emerging Food Tech' award at the Food Connoisseurs India Awards (South India Edition), the IF Design Award, and the British Invention Show's Diamond Award for Best International Invention. It was also celebrated as the top invention at CES Las Vegas 2022 and featured in Forbes DGEMS 2023, which highlights 200 companies with significant global business potential.

In a move that sets a new benchmark for race-day hospitality, Procam International, the organiser of the TCS World 10K Bengaluru, has brought onboard Sodexo India as its official food and beverage partner for the event’s 17th edition on 27th April 2025. This makes TCS World 10K the first distance running event in India to be powered by a globally renowned food services brand.

The collaboration is aimed at delivering a holistic and premium experience for more than 30,000 runners and 1,500 dignitaries, where every touchpoint—from pre-run to post-run—is thoughtfully curated.
