OYO, a leading hospitality technology platform, has announced the addition of 700 company-serviced hotels within a year of launching this segment in September 2023. The company recorded an impressive 250% growth, surpassing its initial target of 200 hotels. This rapid expansion reflects OYO’s focus on offering reliable, standardized stay experiences under its mid-premium and upper-budget brands such as Townhouse and Collection O, catering to both business and leisure travelers.

Geographic Spread and Growth Drivers

The newly onboarded company-serviced hotels span 124 cities across India, with the southern region taking the lead, hosting over 200 properties. Prominent cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Jaipur, and Chennai have emerged as key markets. Additionally, these hotels have made significant inroads into pilgrim destinations such as Varanasi, Haridwar, and Puri and leisure hotspots like Goa, Kochi, Jaipur, and Mysore.

Customer feedback has played a pivotal role in driving this growth. Guests appreciated the consistent and comfortable stay experience, along with the assurance of bookings, while hotel owners valued the steady cash flow and operational support offered by OYO.

Operational Excellence

Company-serviced hotels are managed directly by OYO, ensuring a high standard of operational excellence. These properties are distinctly marked as ‘Company Serviced’ on OYO’s app and website, signaling the brand’s active involvement. A dedicated team of business managers oversees the upkeep of these hotels, monitors guest reviews, and ensures a superior service experience.

OYO’s data-driven strategies have identified key growth areas, enabling better resource allocation and efficient inventory management. Streamlined processes have reduced operational inefficiencies and expedited issue resolution, further enhancing the guest experience.

Customer Satisfaction and Metrics

Highlighting the program’s success, Varun Jain, COO, OYO India, stated, “This initiative has driven substantial improvements in occupancy rates and customer experience, leading to a rise in repeat bookings. Positive feedback has surged, with 95% of guests expressing satisfaction with their stay.” Guests frequently praise the modern amenities, attentive staff, and seamless booking experience as standout features.

Expanding Horizons

OYO’s company-serviced hotel segment reflects its commitment to meeting the evolving needs of travelers by offering diverse options tailored to different budgets and preferences. Whether for business trips, family vacations, or solo adventures, these properties promise top-rated stays with trusted service quality.

This strategic move aligns with OYO’s vision to expand its premium hotel offerings and cater to the growing demand for standardized stays in both domestic and global markets. With its impressive growth trajectory, OYO continues to redefine the hospitality landscape.
