PPDS is excited to unveil the Philips Cast Server, an innovative all-in-one solution for hotel TV systems, aimed at enhancing guest satisfaction and streamlining content management. This launch marks a significant advancement in PPDS’s commitment to providing a full range of total solutions for the hospitality industry, which includes Philips hotel TVs, audio solutions, and digital signage.

The Philips Cast Server is designed to integrate seamlessly with PPDS’s CMND platform and hotel Property Management Systems (PMS), bringing new capabilities to hotels of all sizes. This includes the ability to create unique and fully tailored entertainment experiences built around the individual needs and preferences of guests.

Introduced at ISE 2024, the Philips Cast Server is compatible with Philips MediaSuite and the newly launched Philips Hospitality TV 4500 Series, both featuring Chromecast built-in™ technology. The server enhances these offerings by allowing a secure and private connection for guests to cast content from their devices directly to their in-room TVs without complicated setups or additional Wi-Fi networks.

"Philips Cast Server revolutionizes the guest room entertainment experience by providing seamless, secure, and straightforward content casting capabilities," said Jeroen Verhaeghe, Global Business Development Director for Hospitality at PPDS. "Our goal is to empower hoteliers to provide exceptional service and meet the evolving demands of their guests."

This solution is especially significant in today's hospitality environment, where personalized experiences and streamlined services are paramount. The Philips Cast Server allows for immediate casting of content as soon as guests enter their room, with TVs waking from standby mode to active use effortlessly.

Moreover, the system is built to be GDPR compliant, offering hotels valuable analytics on the usage of casting applications while ensuring all personal data is protected. This functionality enables hoteliers to gain insights into guest preferences and tailor their offerings accordingly.

The Philips Cast Server also simplifies the technical infrastructure for hotels by integrating into the existing IP network, facilitating easy management without the need for dedicated Wi-Fi hotspots for each room. This, combined with customizable options for on-screen branding and language settings, makes it an attractive choice for hotels looking to upgrade their guest experience.

Available globally, the Philips Cast Server offers flexible licensing options tailored to the size of the hotel property, making it a scalable solution for hoteliers worldwide. With this innovative technology, PPDS continues to lead the way in transforming the hospitality industry by enhancing the connection between technology and guest satisfaction.
