Prezmo, Pretzels and More, has launched as India’s first pretzel café, located in Kokapet, Hyderabad. Designed by Crafted Spaces, this new 3,500 sq. ft. café offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with a capacity to accommodate 120 people. The space aims to provide guests with a serene atmosphere to relax away from the city’s bustle, with an emphasis on minimalist design and a natural, calming environment.

The outdoor seating area is surrounded by lush greenery, complemented by neutral shades of sage, terracotta, and beige. This combination of greenery and earthy tones creates a relaxing and minimalist ambiance. A double-height fabricated structure covers the outdoor area, adding volume and ensuring that views from the first-floor seating are unobstructed.

Upon entering the café, customers are greeted by a fluid aluminum door design in sage green, blending seamlessly with the surrounding aesthetic. Inside, the connection between the curved ceiling and the patisserie counter sets the tone for the space, incorporating elements of color, flow, and depth. The L-shaped patisserie counter has a textured beige base with curves in light terracotta and gray, further enhancing the design's sense of fluidity. Behind the counter, a beige wall with a green backsplash tile introduces subtle brand colors, while the intricate railing on the staircase adds visual interest with its combination of circles and semicircles in hues of sage and terracotta.

The first-floor seating area continues the theme of lush greenery, with cozy round seating elements placed amidst potted plants. Diagonally laid concrete tiles and a matching ceiling design add a sense of drama to the space, while wooden, terrazzo, and marble tabletops stand out against the grey flooring. The addition of colored concrete lights and a lime plaster finish gives the café added depth and character.

One of the key design elements of Prezmo is the branding, which is subtly incorporated throughout the space. Custom-made shot-blasted concrete tiles featuring abstract patterns and the Prezmo logo help create a cohesive look. These tiles also line the pathway from the outdoor seating, offering a unique and textured experience for visitors.

Overall, Prezmo’s design strikes a balance between natural elements, minimalist aesthetics, and brand identity, providing guests with a calm and inviting space to enjoy coffee and pretzels.
