As India gears up to celebrate its 78th Independence Day, Pride Hotels Group is thrilled to commemorate this momentous occasion with a series of grand culinary festivities across its properties nationwide. The celebrations will kick off with a flag-hoisting ceremony, setting the tone for a long weekend of indulgent culinary experiences that pay tribute to the diverse and rich culture of India.
Each restaurant across Pride Hotels' properties will be adorned in the vibrant hues of the Indian tricolor, amplifying the festive spirit and embodying the essence of freedom. The buffet offerings will mirror this theme, with tri-colored desserts and dishes that beautifully represent the Indian flag, adding a patriotic touch to the dining experience.
Chef Shailendra Singh, Corporate Chef of Pride Hotels Group, expressed his enthusiasm for the festivities, saying, "Our Independence Day celebrations are a tribute to the diverse culinary heritage of our nation. Through Dawat-e-Hindustan, we bring together the best of Indian cuisine, curated to represent the vibrant food cultures of India. Special culinary events will take place at F&B outlets across all Pride Hotels, including Pride Hotel Nagpur, Pride Plaza Hotel Kolkata, Pride Hotel Pune, Pride Plaza Hotel Aerocity New Delhi, Pride Premier Bengaluru, Pride Plaza Hotel Ahmedabad, and Pride Hotel Chennai. These events will feature a medley of flavors from across India, combined with patriotic-themed decor and exclusive discounts, creating a joyful atmosphere that embodies the spirit of unity and freedom.
At Pride Hotel Nagpur, Cafe Pride will host the Dawat-e-Hindustan buffet promotion on August 15th from 7 PM to 11 PM. This event will showcase a wide array of traditional Indian dishes from various regions of the country, offering a gastronomic journey through North Indian classics like butter chicken and biryani, alongside South Indian favorites such as dosa. This carefully curated menu promises to highlight India's culinary heritage, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts.
Pride Plaza Hotel Kolkata will host an Independence Day celebration at Cafe Treat, offering a vibrant festival that emphasizes patriotism and gratitude. As a token of appreciation, the restaurant will provide a generous 50% discount for armed officials. The decor will capture the spirit of unity with national colors and symbols, creating a welcoming atmosphere that invites the community to celebrate freedom together.
In Pune, Casa Blanca at Pride Hotel Pune will commemorate Independence Day with a patriotic-themed buffet on August 15th, featuring a flag-raising ceremony and a gala dinner with traditional delicacies. This celebration aims to evoke a sense of pride and unity among attendees.
At Pride Plaza Hotel Aerocity in New Delhi, guests can enjoy a 25% discount on lunch at Cafe Pride on August 15th, with a chef-special buffet that highlights the rich flavors of Old Delhi cuisine. This promotion encourages guests to savor the culinary delights that celebrate the essence of Independence Day.
Additionally, Pride Premier Bengaluru will host an Independence Day brunch at Cafe Treat, while Pride Plaza Hotel Ahmedabad will offer a 25% discount for Army cardholders at Cafe Treat on the same day. These initiatives underscore the group's commitment to honoring India's defenders and fostering a sense of community through shared culinary experiences.

The Glenwalk, a premium blended Scotch whisky brand co-founded by Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt and Cartel Bros, has bagged the 'Most Disruptive Brand of the Year' title at the 8th Talent Track Awards 2025, held recently in Mumbai. Known for recognising excellence in digital content, branding, and marketing, the Talent Track Awards celebrated Glenwalk's innovative approach in a competitive spirits market.
This award adds to a long list of prestigious honours the brand has earned in a short span of time. These include a Bronze Medal at the London Spirits Awards 2025, Gold Medal at ProWine 2023, Silver Medal at ProWine 2024, Silver Medal at the London Spirits Competition 2024, Silver Award at IWSC 2024, and Gold at Spiritz Achiever 2024, among others. These accolades reflect the brand’s unwavering focus on quality and innovation, led by co-founders Mokksh Sani, Jitin Merani, Rohan Nihalani, Manish Sani, and Chief Business Officer Neeraj Singh.
