Pride Hotels Group, a leading name in Indian hospitality, successfully concluded its annual budget meeting, Pride Convergence 2024, at Pride Plaza Hotel, Ahmedabad. This three-day event, which included a remarkable cruise along the Sabarmati River, brought together representatives from all 30 hotels within the group to strategize for the upcoming fiscal year.
The meeting began with an opening ceremony titled "Reflections of Ayodhya: Strategizing with Vision and Virtue," which set the stage for a blend of traditional values and modern hospitality approaches. The event featured a variety of cultural performances, including a traditional lamp lighting and a dance sequence, emphasizing the group's commitment to Indian heritage.
Mr. Atul Upadhyay, Executive Vice President of Pride Hotels Group, remarked on the unique blend of business and leisure at the event, stating, "Pride Convergence 2024 transcended typical meetings by integrating cultural celebrations with forward-thinking business strategies. This year, we were excited to introduce our new brand portfolio and discuss our focus on expanding into leisure destinations."
The second day of the event, themed "Budgets and Beyond," focused on financial discussions and strategic planning. Participants enjoyed a BBQ lunch and a dinner cruise, which provided a memorable backdrop for networking and relaxation.
The final day, "Gujarati Vibhor," celebrated local Gujarati culture with traditional cuisine and performances, culminating in an awards ceremony recognizing exceptional contributions from team members and a grand gala dinner.
Mr. Koustuva Mukherjee, AVP of the Gujarat Region, added, "This year's meeting was a perfect amalgamation of strategic business planning and cultural immersion, showcasing our commitment to delivering experiences that are both 'Truly Indian and Traditionally Luxurious.'"
