South Delhi has welcomed a striking new entrant to its premium dining scene with the launch of Raiya, a cosmopolitan restaurant that reimagines Indian fusion dining. Officially opened on 5th September, Raiya takes inspiration from the Sanskrit word for treasure, bringing together global flavours, Indian artistry, and immersive design to redefine modern casual luxury.
At Raiya, food is treated as celebration. The menu blends cosmopolitan inspirations with Indian refinement, featuring dishes that embody the philosophy of fusion. Highlights include Mooradabadi with Thinly Sliced Sourdough, a heritage recipe reinvented with contemporary technique, and Pinwheel Ravioli, where ghee-roasted mushrooms meet delicate pasta craftsmanship. The mains showcase indulgent creations like Maharaja Cauli and Royal Spring Chicken, while desserts such as Timeless Tiramisu and Lotus Biscoff Royale Cheesecake bridge tradition with modern indulgence.
The bar too is designed as an experience, offering signature cocktails that surprise and delight. Standouts include Mystic Gold, a sparkling elderflower-based drink; The Hidden Gem, presented in a treasure box with smoky theatrics; and Elixir of Gold, Raiya’s showstopper featuring real edible gold glitter.
Raiya’s philosophy extends beyond the plate into its design. The restaurant’s interiors are a study in duality, one half inspired by India’s cultural opulence with temple-like textures, warm tones, and intricate details, and the other half echoing Victorian elegance through arched detailing, soft lighting, and curated vintage European accents. Together, these contrasting elements create a dialogue between past and present, East and West, and tradition and modernity, offering guests more than a meal, an immersive journey.
Speaking at the launch, Priyam Chauhan, Founder of Raiya, shared, “For me, it is a dream turned into a treasure, built from passion and a deep love for storytelling through food and design. One half of Raiya celebrates the warmth of India, while the other embodies contemporary global elegance. Together, they tell the story of a new India: rooted in heritage, yet confident in its global expression.”
With its distinctive culinary approach and immersive atmosphere, Raiya positions itself as a cultural treasure in the heart of South Delhi, inviting diners to explore its unique interpretation of fusion.

Copitas, the award-winning bar at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru, has unveiled a new music-inspired cocktail menu, striking a fresh chord in the city’s nightlife. Known for being the first bar in Bengaluru to feature on the prestigious Asia’s 50 Best list, Copitas is now inviting guests on a sensory journey where cocktails harmonise with sound.
The concept draws inspiration from the timeless connection between cocktails and music. Just as speakeasies of the jazz age paired with the Martini or Havana’s salsa nights celebrated rum, Copitas reimagines these dialogues for today’s Bengaluru. The new menu takes guests through eras of sound from the smooth jazz of the 1920s to disco beats and contemporary electronica, each drink crafted as a tribute to its genre.
“At Four Seasons, our philosophy has always been to craft experiences that stay with guests long after they leave. Copitas has consistently set benchmarks for Bengaluru’s cocktail culture, but with this menu we wanted to go further,” said Kazim Mehdi, Director of Food & Beverage at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru. “Music and cocktails have always shared a quiet dialogue. One evokes memory, the other lingers on the palate. With this menu, we bring that dialogue to life in a way that is tangible, artistic, and multi-sensory.”
Among the highlights is Rasamary, a bold tribute to pop music. Vodka and smoky peated malt meet tangy tomato and rasam powder, lifted by lemongrass and chili for a playful, unapologetically local twist. Another standout is Shokunin, inspired by disco. Gin and Campari form the base, with cacao nibs, coffee, and beetroot creating indulgent depth for what the team describes as “a chocolaty, tropical cocktail with a smooth finish.”
For Bar Manager Sher Thakur, who led the creation of the new menu, the personal favourite remains Chord and Crisp. “This collection was designed for those who live and breathe music. Chord and Crisp is my favourite. Vodka sets the rhythm, thyme and Parmesan bring savoury depth, and watermelon and lime add balance. It is soulful, clean, and herbaceous, much like the blues itself,” he shared.
The menu itself is a work of art, designed with folds reminiscent of vintage greeting cards. Each cocktail is paired with stories, illustrations of local ingredients, and collectible CD-style coasters featuring lyric fragments, making it as much a keepsake as a guide.
With this innovative menu, Copitas reaffirms its place as a definitive address for cocktail artistry in Bengaluru. More than just a bar, it offers a rhythm of flavours and storytelling, ensuring that every night here lingers like a favourite melody.
