In a significant boost to Ayodhya’s hospitality sector, Ramada by Wyndham is set to launch a new 70-room upscale hotel in Faizabad by July 2026. The project, developed by Sonu Sonkar in collaboration with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, aims to support the growing demand for quality accommodation in this culturally vibrant and rapidly evolving city.
Strategically located in the Faizabad Industrial Area along NH 28, the hotel will serve a broad spectrum of visitors, from religious pilgrims and domestic tourists to business travelers. The upcoming property will feature well-appointed guest rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, meeting spaces, a fitness center, and other modern amenities in line with the global Ramada by Wyndham standards.
“It is a privilege to bring the globally respected Ramada brand to Ayodhya, a city witnessing tremendous growth and spiritual significance. This collaboration with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts represents our shared vision to provide high-quality, international-standard accommodation that supports Ayodhya’s tourism and development goals,” said Sonu Sonkar, owner of the new property.
Rahool Macarius, Market Managing Director, Eurasia, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, added, “Ayodhya is evolving into a key destination for both spiritual and leisure travel. Partnering with Mr. Sonkar on this project reflects our continued commitment to expanding in high-potential, culturally significant markets across India. We look forward to introducing the dependable and trusted Ramada experience to more travelers in the region.”
This marks Wyndham’s third hotel in the Ayodhya region, underlining its strategic focus on tier-2 and tier-3 cities in India, especially those with rising spiritual and heritage tourism.
