In a significant boost to Ayodhya’s hospitality sector, Ramada by Wyndham is set to launch a new 70-room upscale hotel in Faizabad by July 2026. The project, developed by Sonu Sonkar in collaboration with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, aims to support the growing demand for quality accommodation in this culturally vibrant and rapidly evolving city.
Strategically located in the Faizabad Industrial Area along NH 28, the hotel will serve a broad spectrum of visitors, from religious pilgrims and domestic tourists to business travelers. The upcoming property will feature well-appointed guest rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, meeting spaces, a fitness center, and other modern amenities in line with the global Ramada by Wyndham standards.
“It is a privilege to bring the globally respected Ramada brand to Ayodhya, a city witnessing tremendous growth and spiritual significance. This collaboration with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts represents our shared vision to provide high-quality, international-standard accommodation that supports Ayodhya’s tourism and development goals,” said Sonu Sonkar, owner of the new property.
Rahool Macarius, Market Managing Director, Eurasia, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, added, “Ayodhya is evolving into a key destination for both spiritual and leisure travel. Partnering with Mr. Sonkar on this project reflects our continued commitment to expanding in high-potential, culturally significant markets across India. We look forward to introducing the dependable and trusted Ramada experience to more travelers in the region.”
This marks Wyndham’s third hotel in the Ayodhya region, underlining its strategic focus on tier-2 and tier-3 cities in India, especially those with rising spiritual and heritage tourism.

In today’s rapidly growing medical and wellness tourism sector, many companies promise treatment. Few promise care. Well Med Trip, a Mauritius-registered leader in medical and wellness travel, is redefining what healing abroad truly means.
At the helm is Chief Operating Officer Sushil Unni, who envisions medical travel not as a transaction, but as a deeply personal journey of healing and comfort. Under his leadership, patients never feel like strangers in a foreign land. “We make sure there is no gap between medical needs and emotional well-being,” says Unni, reflecting the company’s core philosophy of care. He emphasizes that “healing is not only about curing illness, but about restoring hope, dignity, and peace of mind.”
Every detail is thoughtfully managed from the reassuring voice that answers a midnight call to the serenity of a wellness resort selected for recovery. Well Med Trip transforms what might have been a purely clinical trip into a journey of belonging, support, and comfort. Patients are guided at every step, ensuring they feel safe, understood, and cared for.
The company goes far beyond connecting international patients with leading hospitals and doctors. It curates comprehensive healing experiences with an empathy-first approach, from specialized treatments and seamless travel logistics to airport pickups and recovery stays designed to be reassuring, supportive, and stress-free.
Well Med Trip also integrates Ayurvedic and holistic therapies, recognizing that true healing embraces not just the body, but also the mind and spirit.
For the hospitality industry, this sector represents more than a market opportunity, it is a chance to be part of a movement toward care-centered travel. Resorts, Hotels, and Ayurvedic wellness centers can partner with Well Med Trip to welcome travelers who value comfort, trust, and holistic care as much as medical treatment itself.
As global demand for medical and wellness tourism continues to rise, Well Med Trip demonstrates how healthcare and hospitality can work together to create journeys that feel less like treatment and more like being cared for by family.

Sometimes the best collaborations happen by chance and that’s exactly how Shamita Shetty’s latest venture came to life. The actress and wellness advocate wasn’t on the lookout for a business opportunity; she was simply searching for a healthy snack that met her standards for clean eating.
Her casual social media post asking for recommendations sparked numerous replies, but one response stood out from Swati Soni, a passionate home chef and founder of Meve Jars, known for her handcrafted nut spreads. Swati sent over a few jars, and one spoonful was all it took for Shamita to realise she’d found something special.
Made with 73% real nuts and completely free from preservatives, Meve Jars delivered the flavour and purity Shamita had been craving. But what began as a simple discovery quickly turned into inspiration.
“It’s rare to find something that ticks all the boxes clean, nourishing, and delicious,” said Shamita Shetty. “After trying it, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I didn’t just want to endorse it; I wanted to help build it. That’s when I reached out to Swati with the idea of joining her as a co-founder.”
For Swati Soni, the moment was nothing short of surreal.
“When Shamita called and said she wanted to partner with me, I couldn’t believe it,” she shared. “She understood what Meve Jars stands for — real food, clean ingredients, no compromises. It’s a dream to see this vision grow with her.”
Together, the two women are on a mission to make healthy snacking both accessible and enjoyable for mindful consumers. While Swati continues to craft flavourful, nutrient-rich spreads, Shamita brings her voice and wellness expertise to introduce Meve Jars to a wider, health-conscious audience.
In a market increasingly focused on transparency and better-for-you foods, Meve Jars stands out as a brand that proves you don’t have to choose between taste and nutrition, you can have both
