Rampur Indian Single Malt Whisky from Radico Khaitan continues its strong global ascent, securing the #4 position among the Top Trending World Whiskies for 2026 in the Drinks International Report. The ranking places Rampur alongside some of the most influential whisky brands worldwide and marks a significant milestone for Indian single malts on the international stage.
The Drinks International Report is widely regarded as a key global industry benchmark, closely tracked by producers, distributors, and the on-trade community. Its annual rankings are shaped by insights from leading bars across the world, reflecting brands that are actively influencing menus, consumer preferences, and conversations within the premium spirits space. Rampur’s rise to fourth place highlights its growing acceptance and demand across major global markets.
Commenting on the recognition, Abhishek Khaitan, Managing Director, Radico Khaitan, said, “Seeing Rampur recognised among the world’s top trending whiskies is extremely encouraging for us. It strengthens our belief that Indian single malts are competing at the highest level globally. This recognition reflects the care, craft, and conviction that goes into building brands with long-term value and international appeal.”
Crafted in India and shaped by a distinctive terroir, Rampur Indian Single Malt has steadily built a reputation for quality, character, and authenticity. Its increasing presence in premium bars and specialist retail across international markets has contributed significantly to its upward movement in global rankings.
Sanjeev Banga, President – International Business, Radico Khaitan, added, “Rampur’s continued rise in global rankings mirrors the growing interest in Indian single malts across international markets. As we expand our footprint globally, our focus remains on preserving the brand’s artisanal character while introducing it to new audiences. Recognition from Drinks International is a strong endorsement of that approach.”
Rampur’s #4 ranking in the 2026 list underscores the growing stature of Indian whisky in the global premium and luxury segment. It also reinforces Radico Khaitan’s broader strategy of premiumisation, innovation, and international expansion, as the company continues to strengthen its position as a leading player in the global spirits industry.
