In response to the increasing number of fire-related incidents across Noida, Spectrum@Metro Mall in Sector 75 conducted a comprehensive mock drill to assess emergency preparedness and strengthen response mechanisms in case of a fire.
The drill was conducted under the supervision of Yogendra Prasad, Fire Officer from Noida Phase-3, who reviewed the mall’s current fire safety protocols and offered key suggestions to enhance the system.
Hariom Dagar from the mall management oversaw the exercise, while Rahul Tripathi from JLL briefed mall staff on immediate response actions, including how to operate fire alarms, use firefighting equipment, and ensure safe evacuation of visitors.
The practical exercise involved simulating an emergency evacuation, sounding fire alarms, and demonstrating the use of equipment across different parts of the mall.
Commenting on the initiative, Ajendra Singh, Vice President (Sales and Marketing), Spectrum@Metro Mall, said, “We prioritise the safety of our staff and visitors above all. By conducting regular mock drills like this, we ensure that prompt and correct actions can be taken in case of any emergency.”
The mall’s proactive approach to safety not only reinforces its commitment to the public but also sets an example for other commercial spaces in the region.
