Chef Thapar's journey in the culinary world began after serving as a Navigation Officer in the Merchant Navy. He started his career at The Oberoi Centre for Learning and Development, where he had the privilege of training under the esteemed Chef Parvinder Bali.

Having worked at renowned hotels and resorts such as Oberoi, The Roseate, JW Marriott, and Leela Palaces, Hotels, and Resorts, Chef Thapar has established himself as a seasoned chef with a wealth of experience. In 2021, he was honoured with the prestigious title of Executive Chef of the Year (Luxury) by Hotelier India, recognizing his exceptional culinary skills.
