The Faldo Series Asia Grand Final is all set to return to Laguna Golf Lang Co for its 16th edition, teeing off from April 22–25, 2025. Asia’s most promising junior golfers will compete over the renowned Sir Nick Faldo Signature course, a layout that continues to set the standard for championship-level competition in the region.
Often dubbed as the world’s premier junior golf circuit, the Faldo Series has helped shape the careers of golf legends like Rory McIlroy, Danny Willett, and Yani Tseng, as well as other stars such as Tyrrell Hatton, Joaquin Niemann, Mel Reid, and Li Haotong.
“The Faldo Series has always been about providing young golfers with the opportunity to compete at an elite level and learn the skills needed to succeed in the professional game,” said Sir Nick Faldo. “Laguna Golf Lang Co is the perfect venue for the Grand Final, offering a championship-calibre course in a stunning location.”
One of the rising stars returning to the spotlight is Nguyen Duc Son, the Vietnamese prodigy who won the 2024 edition with consistent rounds of 70, 69, and 69. Now pursuing a golf career in Melbourne, Son’s journey reflects the Series’ role in providing exposure and opportunity for emerging talent, particularly from golf’s fast-growing markets like Vietnam.
As Vietnam’s golfing landscape expands, events like the Faldo Series Asia Grand Final underline the country’s rising stature in global golf. Initiatives like the Vietnam Golf Coast (VGC) continue to boost its reputation as a must-visit golf destination.
Stephen Banks, Director of Golf at Laguna Golf Lang Co, shared,
“This event not only highlights the incredible talent emerging from Asia but also showcases our course and resort to a global audience. We are committed to supporting young golfers on their journey and look forward to welcoming players, families, and fans for what promises to be a fantastic tournament.”
Located between the East Sea and the Annamite Mountains, Laguna Golf Lang Co blends natural beauty with high-level challenge. With its pristine conditions and thoughtful design, the course is the ideal stage for juniors chasing their dreams.
Adding to the excitement, Sir Nick Faldo himself will be present during the tournament, offering guidance and encouragement to the next generation of golf stars.
