Moxy Mumbai Andheri West has announced the appointment of Riya D’souza as Human Resource Manager, bringing over five years of experience in human resources within the hospitality industry. In her new role, D’souza will oversee key HR functions including talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development, employee lifecycle management and HR operations.

She joins Moxy Mumbai Andheri West from The Westin Mumbai Garden City, where she served as Assistant Manager – Human Resources since September 2023. During her tenure, she handled recruitment and selection, onboarding and exit formalities, employee engagement, leave and attendance, training, vendor management and administration.

Before joining The Westin, D’souza spent over four years with Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport as a Human Resources Executive. Her responsibilities included payroll, recruitment and selection, onboarding and exit formalities, leave and attendance and training. She also began her hospitality career with The Machan Resorts. D’souza has been recognised for her contribution to the industry, receiving the Executive of the Year – 2022 award for Heart of the House. She also completed Marriott International’s Leadership Development Program (LEAD) in April 2023.

She holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from NMIMS and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies from Mumbai University. With experience across employee engagement, talent management and HR operations, D’souza’s appointment supports Moxy Mumbai Andheri West’s focus on strengthening its people practices and building an engaged workplace culture.
