ROSIND, the official India partner of the Russian Export Center, has announced the launch of Soyuzprod Vodka in India, bringing an authentic Russian vodka brand to one of the fastest-growing beverage alcohol markets in the world.

The launch is part of ROSIND’s broader strategy to create long-term opportunities for Russian brands in India. Along with facilitating trade, the organisation is focused on expanding market access through local distribution partnerships, retail presence and sustained brand-building efforts.

ROSIND is led by experienced industry professionals, including Oleg Kalaev, who has previously served as Minister of Finance, Minister of Economy, Deputy Prime Minister and First Deputy Prime Minister in the Government of North Ossetia-Alania. The organisation is actively working to introduce and expand Russian products across various categories suited to the Indian market.

“India is one of the most exciting growth markets for premium spirits globally, and consumers today are increasingly seeking authenticity, heritage and quality. Soyuzprod embodies the rich tradition of Russian vodka-making while offering a contemporary experience that resonates with modern consumers. Through this launch, we aim to establish Soyuzprod as a credible and accessible Russian vodka brand for India's evolving premium spirits landscape and build a meaningful presence in the country's growing premium vodka segment,” said Bobby Kohli, Executive Director, ROSIND.

The launch comes at a time when India’s vodka category is witnessing strong growth. Valued at more than ₹39,000 crore (USD 4.7 billion), the market is expected to reach nearly USD 7.5 billion by 2034. Factors such as rising disposable incomes, premiumisation, changing consumer preferences and an expanding cocktail culture among younger consumers are driving this growth. While domestic brands continue to account for a large share of the market, premium and imported vodkas are steadily gaining popularity among consumers looking for authentic global experiences.

The introduction of Soyuzprod also reflects the growing trade relationship between India and Russia. Russian spirits exports to India have recorded significant growth in recent years, with vodka emerging as an important contributor to this expansion. Through Soyuzprod, ROSIND aims to offer Indian consumers an authentic taste of Russian vodka craftsmanship while strengthening its footprint in the premium spirits segment.

Soyuzprod Export is produced at the historic Salut Distillery, which traces its origins back to 1884. Crafted using carefully selected grains, Lux-grade spirit and pure glacial water, the vodka is designed to deliver a smooth and refined drinking experience. The product is presented in a clear-glass bottle featuring metallic detailing, clean label design and a prominent crest emblem that highlights its Russian heritage.

Available across India, Soyuzprod seeks to make authentic Russian vodka more accessible to Indian consumers while supporting ROSIND’s vision of building sustainable pathways for Russian consumer brands in the Indian market.
