RuVango Winery, located in Napa’s scenic Carneros region, offers a unique twist on the traditional wine experience by blending fine wines with world-renowned art. Recently, the winery unveiled an impressive art collection featuring pieces by Salvador Dalí and Sir Daniel Winn, positioning itself as a destination for wine lovers and art enthusiasts alike. The blend of wine and art at RuVango creates a cultural atmosphere that distinguishes it from other wineries, offering a space where visitors can appreciate both visual artistry and the artistry of winemaking.
With a commitment to the idea that “wine is the only art you can taste,” RuVango curates an experience that engages all the senses. The winery’s tasting rooms double as galleries, showcasing original artwork that complements the flavors and complexities of the wines served. This unique approach provides guests with a new perspective on wine appreciation, creating an immersive experience that blends taste, sight, and ambiance.
Dalí’s Legacy: Surreal Art Meets Fine Wine
A highlight of RuVango’s art collection is Salvador Dalí’s rare Les Chants de Maldoror, a series of intricate etchings by the renowned surrealist. These artworks, known for their intricate details and surreal themes, provide a contemplative, almost dreamlike counterpart to the bold flavors of RuVango’s wines. The Dalí collection draws art lovers and wine enthusiasts alike, offering them a rare opportunity to engage with Dalí’s work in an intimate setting. This fusion of wine and surrealism invites guests to explore the nuances of both art forms, allowing them to consider the depths of the art on the walls and the flavors in their glass.
Modern Art by Sir Daniel Winn
RuVango’s artistic appeal doesn’t stop with Dalí; it extends into the present through the works of Sir Daniel Winn. Known for blending classical and contemporary techniques, Winn’s colorful paintings and dynamic sculptures infuse a modern flair into the winery’s aesthetic. Winn’s pieces, strategically displayed throughout the tasting areas, enhance the experience by sparking conversation and reflection, while his bold color palette and evocative forms add to the winery’s vibrant atmosphere. The interaction between the wines and Winn’s art invites guests to contemplate both, providing a space where each enhances the other.
A Fusion of Wine and Artistry
RuVango’s innovative approach to the winery experience stems from a philosophy that places equal value on wine and art. The winery curates an immersive environment that allows guests to fully appreciate the art behind winemaking, set against the backdrop of world-class art installations. At RuVango, art is not simply decoration—it is central to the winery’s identity. By blending two distinct forms of creative expression, RuVango creates a space that encourages guests to explore the artistry involved in both, making each visit a multi-sensory journey.
Exceptional Service and Setting
Under the leadership of CEO Nasar Aboubakare, RuVango takes pride in offering top-tier service in a serene, relaxing environment. Nestled amid the rolling hills of the Carneros region, the winery provides a peaceful setting for visitors to unwind and engage with the art and wine on offer. The knowledgeable staff not only guide guests through the tasting experience but also provide insights into the artwork, ensuring a meaningful visit for wine enthusiasts and art lovers alike.
Whether guests are touring the art collection or sampling wines, RuVango’s team is dedicated to offering a memorable experience. The attention to detail extends to every aspect of the visit, from personalized wine tastings to curated tours of the art installations, ensuring that each guest leaves with a deeper connection to both the wines and the artwork they’ve experienced.

Anantara Hotels, the luxury brand by Minor Hotels, has made a striking debut in Vienna, Austria, by transforming the historic Palais Hansen into the city’s first urban luxury resort. With this, Anantara brings its signature blend of Thai-inspired hospitality and European grandeur to the heart of the Austrian capital.
Originally designed by Baron Theophil Edvard von Hansen, the neo-Renaissance palace has a legacy spanning over 150 years, having once served as both a residential complex and a public administration building. Following a meticulous renovation, the building now offers 152 guest rooms and suites, including a lavish 270m² Presidential Suite. Complete with seven French balconies, a piano for private concerts, and a wellness space with a marble bath, the suite can expand to a sprawling 408m² four-bedroom configuration upon request.
The hotel is equipped with modern luxury comforts while preserving the architectural charm of old Vienna. Guests can enjoy high ceilings, oversized windows, and triple-glazing for comfort and quiet. The property also includes the 800m² Anantara Spa, three elegant dining venues, eight versatile meeting spaces, an executive boardroom, a private reading room, and a ballroom for up to 265 guests — making it an attractive choice for both leisure and business travellers.
This marks another major step in Anantara’s European expansion, joining a portfolio of over 50 luxury properties across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and the Indian Ocean. Earlier this year, Minor Hotels also announced plans to develop a new Anantara resort in Egypt, further extending the brand’s reach in key international destinations.
With its Vienna debut, Anantara not only celebrates the preservation of heritage architecture but also sets a new benchmark for luxury hospitality in the city — where timeless elegance meets contemporary service.
In a playful twist on vacation planning, Marriott Bonvoy has introduced “Travel Roulette”, a digital experience designed to inject spontaneity into trip bookings—just as it celebrates a huge milestone: 1 million hotel rooms across the U.S.
Inspired by the viral “vacation roulette” trend on social media, the new initiative invites Marriott Bonvoy members to spin a virtual wheel at MarriottBonvoyRoulette.com for a chance to instantly win prizes, including stays at premium hotels and the grand prize of 1 million Marriott Bonvoy points plus a four-night stay at the newly opened Canal House of Georgetown.

Nestled in historic Washington, D.C., this boutique property features design-rich accommodations, including specialty suites, townhomes, a library lounge, and a private courtyard.
