The brand, founded by Gunjan Shrivastava, is a passion project dedicated to bringing back the pride and authenticity of Indian mithai. Gunjan’s love for Indian mithai heritage took her on a journey across India, where she explored regional recipes, ancient techniques, and forgotten flavors. This deep-rooted research helped her craft authentic yet contemporary mithais, ensuring each bite tells a story of nostalgia and culture.

"During my travels across India, I discovered a treasure trove of mithai that carried the unique stories of our culture. I have rediscovered recipes and perfected techniques behind each mithai for our customers to indulge in its real flavors," shares Gunjan.

Saffron & Mishri’s two new outlets offer a modern yet culturally rich experience:

  • Mahalakshmi Experience Center – Features a 'Make Your Own Memories' (MYOM) interactive counter, allowing visitors to customize and create their own mithais. It also boasts a walk-in kitchen concept, where customers can witness the mithai-making process firsthand, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to transparency and authenticity.

  • Powai Store & Café – Designed with art-inspired interiors, this outlet offers an Instagram-worthy café experience, complete with elegant skylights, open-air seating, and a menu featuring both mithai and flavorful chaat.

Known for recognising excellence in digital content, branding, and marketing, the Talent Track Awards celebrated Glenwalk's innovative approach in a competitive spirits market.

This award adds to a long list of prestigious honours the brand has earned in a short span of time. These include a Bronze Medal at the London Spirits Awards 2025, Gold Medal at ProWine 2023, Silver Medal at ProWine 2024, Silver Medal at the London Spirits Competition 2024, Silver Award at IWSC 2024, and Gold at Spiritz Achiever 2024, among others. These accolades reflect the brand’s unwavering focus on quality and innovation, led by co-founders Mokksh Sani, Jitin Merani, Rohan Nihalani, Manish Sani, and Chief Business Officer Neeraj Singh.
