SGF India (Spice Grill Flame), one of India’s most loved vegetarian food chains, hosted the country’s first and largest Soya Food Festival on 19th April 2025 at its Rohini Sector 15 outlet in New Delhi. The event brought together foodies, influencers, and dignitaries to celebrate innovation in plant-based cuisine, highlighting soya’s versatility and health benefits.
The festival was inaugurated by Shri Vijender Gupta, Hon’ble Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly, along with Smt. Smita Kaushik, Municipal Councillor of Rohini Ward 54-D. Their presence underscored the growing importance of healthy, sustainable vegetarian eating habits.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Kewal Ahuja, Founder and Director of SGF India, shared, “The Soya Food Festival is not just a feast – it's a food revolution. We are building a community around mindful eating.”
The event also marked the exclusive launch of SGF Green, a new initiative focused on 100% plant-based, gluten-free, and maida-free soya dishes. The new range includes innovative items like Chick-less Leg Piece, Meatless Rogan Josh, and Veggie Fish Nuggets, catering to the health-conscious palate without compromising on taste.
One of the major attractions was the presence of popular food influencers and bloggers, who captured the festival’s vibrant atmosphere and shared it widely across social media under the theme “Pure Soya, Pure Health.”
Guests of all ages explored a diverse range of pure, high-protein soya chaap and dishes – all made without maida or gluten – reinforcing SGF’s commitment to hygiene, purity, and taste.
The Delhi leg of the festival is part of SGF’s larger month-long celebration from 1st to 30th April 2025, with similar events and special plant-based menus across cities including Amritsar, Jaipur, Bhopal, and Bahadurgarh.
With this milestone event, SGF India has taken a bold step forward in promoting a plant-forward food culture, rooted in health, sustainability, and delicious innovation.
