Conceptualized by Area General Manager Rene D. Egle, SiO2 draws inspiration from the elemental beauty of its coastal setting, featuring a design that harmonizes with the natural environment. The lounge's name, SiO2, reflects the composition of quartz, silicon, and oxygen, mirroring the sandy shores it overlooks. Elegantly set on the edge of Al Bandar hotel's 500m long beach, SiO2 promises to be Muscat's hotspot for unforgettable afternoons and evenings.

The lounge's aesthetic combines contemporary island beach vibes with the majestic views of the Hajar mountains, creating a serene yet vibrant atmosphere. Guests can relax in the rattan cozy lounge, surrounded by white drapes, and indulge in a menu that revives the senses. The creative selection of cocktails and mocktails, inspired by the four elements of nature – fire, water, earth, and air – are designed to enhance the guest experience.
