Silk Road Coffee Company (SRCC), a brand founded by Parth Suri and Shamit Tyagi, has opened a new roastery and bakehouse in Mumbai’s vibrant Versova neighborhood. The expansive location, covering 3,500 square feet across two floors, welcomes coffee lovers into an inviting space designed to foster a sense of community and togetherness. With capacity for over 150 guests, the roastery aims to offer a serene environment where people can connect, relax, and enjoy high-quality coffee and baked goods.
The SRCC outlet blends natural and modern elements, with large glass windows to create an airy, open feel. Whether visitors are seeking a peaceful setting for focused work or a cozy spot to disconnect, the roastery’s atmosphere is adaptable, balancing the energy of the city with a calm, reflective ambiance. Outside, the open-air seating aligns with the natural landscape, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a coffee while soaking in Versova’s vibrant surroundings.

At the heart of SRCC’s mission is a commitment to quality coffee crafted with expertise and passion. Sourcing premium coffee beans from estates across India, including Kudiraipanjan Estate in Shervaroy Hills, Ellsworth Estate in Chikmagalur, and Koppathur Estate, the company emphasizes flavor diversity and authenticity. Each coffee offers a unique tasting experience: Kudiraipanjan’s beans bring tropical and buttery notes, Ellsworth Estate’s beans offer classic, rich flavors, and Koppathur Estate’s Arabica and Robusta beans feature unique profiles achieved through innovative processing techniques.
The coffee at SRCC is crafted using high-end equipment like the Slayer coffee machine, known for its precise control over water flow and pressure, allowing baristas to enhance each coffee’s distinct flavor. This level of care reflects SRCC’s philosophy of blending art with precision, as a team composed of artists, musicians, and creatives bring their passion to every cup.
In addition to coffee, SRCC’s in-house bakery complements the beverage offerings with a variety of freshly baked items, from almond croissants to pain au chocolat. The Glenwalk, a premium blended Scotch whisky brand co-founded by Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt and Cartel Bros, has bagged the 'Most Disruptive Brand of the Year' title at the 8th Talent Track Awards 2025, held recently in Mumbai. Known for recognising excellence in digital content, branding, and marketing, the Talent Track Awards celebrated Glenwalk's innovative approach in a competitive spirits market.
This award adds to a long list of prestigious honours the brand has earned in a short span of time. These include a Bronze Medal at the London Spirits Awards 2025, Gold Medal at ProWine 2023, Silver Medal at ProWine 2024, Silver Medal at the London Spirits Competition 2024, Silver Award at IWSC 2024, and Gold at Spiritz Achiever 2024, among others. These accolades reflect the brand’s unwavering focus on quality and innovation, led by co-founders Mokksh Sani, Jitin Merani, Rohan Nihalani, Manish Sani, and Chief Business Officer Neeraj Singh.
