Snabbit has appointed Madhavi Kochar as Vice President – Communications, strengthening its leadership team as the quick home services platform enters its next phase of growth.

Kochar will lead Snabbit's external and internal communications, with responsibility for corporate reputation, stakeholder engagement and employee communications.

She brings two decades of experience in communications and joins Snabbit following an 11-year tenure at Amazon. Most recently, she served as Head – IN Stores Communications, having previously held the role of Head – India Corporate Communications.

At Snabbit, Kochar will work closely with the leadership team to shape the company's communications strategy across its customers, Experts, employees and other stakeholders. Her mandate will include developing the company's corporate and business narrative while strengthening internal communication and employee engagement as the organisation grows.

Building Communications for the Next Phase

Snabbit describes its business as an effort to bring greater technology, structure and reliability to everyday home services, moving from fragmented offline supply towards an organised, on-demand model.

According to the company, it has crossed 1 crore lifetime jobs and recorded more than 1.15 lakh jobs in a single day in June. Snabbit currently operates across more than 200 micro-markets in five cities — Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Delhi NCR, Pune, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

With the expansion of its operations, the company said the communications function will play a role in articulating its business model, the standards it is developing and the opportunities created through its platform.
