Sterling Crosses ₹5 Billion Revenue Milestone in FY25 with 13% Growth

Sterling Holiday Resorts, a prominent name in India’s leisure hospitality sector, has hit a new high in FY25, crossing the ₹5 billion mark in annual revenue for the first time. The company reported a total revenue of ₹5,202 million, reflecting a 13% year-on-year growth, while maintaining a healthy EBITDA margin of 34%. Notably, Sterling remains completely debt-free and has recorded 20 consecutive quarters of profit.

 The company’s footprint expanded to 61 resorts with 3,254 rooms across 53 destinations, with new properties launched in Jaisalmer, Tipeshwar, and Amritsar during Q4.

Sterling now operates across 17 Indian states, with strong regional clusters such as 9 resorts each in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, 8 each in Rajasthan and Maharashtra, and 7 in Uttarakhand. The resort themes are diverse, featuring 13 in wildlife destinations, 13 in the Himalayas, and 11 in spiritual circuits. The brand is also strengthening its presence in the bleisure (business + leisure) segment, with properties in Madurai, Karwar, Bokaro, and Dehradun.

 Food & Beverage (F&B) revenue crossed ₹1 billion this year, supported by revamped F&B offerings, the addition of specialty restaurants, and increased focus on the banquet business.

Sharing his thoughts, Mr. Vikram Lalvani, MD & CEO, said:

 On the customer satisfaction front, Sterling continues to shine:

  • Sterling Kanha won the TripAdvisor Best of the Best Award for the 3rd consecutive year.

  • 30 resorts received the Traveler’s Choice Awards, with 10 winning it for three years in a row.

  • Sterling Puri, the 121-key flagship property, was named Best Family Resort of the Year at the CMO Asia Odisha Leadership Awards 2025.

 Under its Sterling Sankalp ESG initiative, the company made major strides in sustainability and community upliftment:

  • Energy Efficiency: Heat pumps, EV charging stations, and renewable energy investments

  • Waste Management: Plastic-free efforts through in-house water bottling in four resorts

  • Water Conservation: Rainwater harvesting and grey water recycling

  • CSR: Ongoing support to Fairfax India Charitable Foundation’s “Project Dialysis”, which has helped install over 2,000 dialysis machines across India

 A major highlight was Sterling Munnar winning Gold at the 14th RCI Green Awards, becoming the first resort in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific to achieve this recognition.

In a powerful collaboration for environmental change, the Smiling Tree Foundation, led by Dr. Mukesh Kwatra, joined hands with Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (GTBIT), Rajouri Garden, Delhi, for a large-scale plantation drive. Held with great enthusiasm, the initiative saw nearly 500 saplings being planted across the campus, reflecting a strong commitment to a greener tomorrow.

The event was graced by S. Amarjit Singh, Chairman of GTBIT, and Dr. Rominder Kaur Randhawa, Director of GTBIT, alongside Prof. Dr. P.P. Vermani and other senior faculty members. In a thoughtful gesture, planters were gifted to all participants by Smiling Tree.

While S. Harmeet Singh Kalka Ji, President of DSGMC, and S. Jagdeep Singh Khalon Ji, General Secretary of DSGMC, could not attend, they sent in their wishes and full support for the campaign’s success.
