Sukoon Wellness Resort in Dakpathar, Uttarakhand, has taken a significant step forward in enhancing its wellness offerings with the addition of six Sugandh-themed Executive Cottages. Part of Stotrak Hotels, an experiential hotel chain, this expansion not only doubles the resort's capacity but also elevates its unique sensory experiences, solidifying Sukoon’s position in the wellness tourism sector.

The resort now offers a total of 12 cottages, comfortably accommodating over 40 guests, making it a perfect destination for larger gatherings such as family retreats, corporate events, and pre-wedding festivities.

The new Executive Cottages are designed to be 25% larger than their predecessors, offering guests more space and an immersive wellness experience. Infused with natural aromas, these cottages create a serene and refreshing atmosphere that seamlessly blends with the surrounding scenic beauty of Uttarakhand. This sensory upgrade adds a fresh dimension to Sukoon’s wellness philosophy, making it a standout destination for travelers seeking relaxation and rejuvenation.

Under this partnership, the property will continue to be owned by the Thom family, while Eight Continents Hotels & Resorts will take over the day-to-day management. The collaboration is designed to merge the hotel’s established legacy with the group’s experience-led approach, ensuring a balance between operational efficiency and high-quality service delivery.

The group plans to focus on refining the hotel’s brand positioning across regional and international markets, while enhancing operational performance. Key initiatives will include strengthening service delivery through people-first training, implementing structured operational frameworks, and driving commercial outcomes through disciplined revenue strategies. A more cohesive, design-led identity across guest touchpoints is also part of the transformation plan.
