Summit Hotels & Resorts has completed a major upgrade at Summit by the Ganges Beach Resort & Spa located in Shivpuri, a key hospitality stretch in the Rishikesh region of Uttarakhand. The refurbishment strengthens the group’s presence in one of the most sought-after riverfront destinations in the state.

One of the standout highlights of the property is its rare access to a private white-sand beach along the Ganges. Only a limited number of hotels in the upper Rishikesh belt offer this feature, giving the resort a distinctive advantage in the local hospitality market. The serene riverfront setting, combined with scenic mountain views and a large inventory of Ganges-facing rooms, places the property in a unique position among resorts in the region.

As part of the latest upgrade, an entire wing of the accommodation has been fully refurbished. The renovation includes refreshed interiors, upgraded bathrooms, new woodwork and improved lighting across the rooms. A few select rooms have also been enhanced with bathtubs, further elevating the stay experience for guests.

The resort welcomes a wide range of travellers including leisure guests looking for experiential stays, families on holiday, corporate groups hosting offsites, and couples planning destination weddings. This year alone, the property has hosted around 35 weddings, typically accommodating celebrations with 150 to 200 guests.
