With nearly three decades of experience in the travel and tourism industry, Vineet brings a dynamic blend of strategic insight, leadership, and innovation to the role.

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and the Indian School of Business, Vineet has held senior roles across several top travel brands. Known for driving growth and spearheading transformation, his appointment is seen as a strategic move to boost Tamarind Global’s market presence across North India.

In his new role, Vineet will oversee expansion across the company’s Corporate Travel, MICE, and Luxury Leisure segments. He will also focus on building strategic partnerships to further deepen Tamarind Global’s footprint in the region.

Hosted by popular RJs Rahul Makin and Ilahi, the event featured engaging commentary, lively interactions, and nonstop fun. The box cricket format brought kids together for friendly matches filled with enthusiasm, team spirit, and plenty of memorable moments.

Park Hyatt Chennai has announced the appointment of Ershad Mullick as the new Director of Food & Beverage, bringing a wealth of experience and leadership to the luxury hotel’s culinary operations.

An alumnus of IIHM Kolkata, Ershad’s journey in hospitality began at Park Hyatt Chennai itself—making this new role a significant and nostalgic return. His extensive career spans several prominent positions within the Hyatt Hotels family, including Banquet Manager at Hyatt Pune, Director of Restaurants at Andaz Delhi, and most recently, Director of Food & Beverage at Hyatt Regency Kolkata.

Outside the Hyatt fold, Ershad served as General Manager – Operations at the Hungry & Thirsty Group, a luxury restaurant chain, where he played a key role in driving operational innovation and excellence.

“I’m truly excited to be back at Park Hyatt Chennai, this time in a new leadership capacity,” said Ershad. “It feels great to return to a place that’s familiar, yet full of fresh opportunities.”

The newly launched Meliá Pattaya Hotel has announced the appointment of Peter Laird as its Director of Food and Beverage. With over two decades of experience in the hospitality sector across Asia and Europe, Laird brings a wealth of expertise to lead the 234-room hotel’s dynamic culinary team.

An Irish and British national, Laird has been working in Thailand since 2018 and most recently served as the Director of F&B at Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort. He has also held leadership roles at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit, where he played a key role in opening Belga Rooftop Bar & Brasserie, and has managed food and beverage operations across various venues in the UK.

At Meliá Pattaya, Laird will oversee the hotel’s diverse dining outlets including Yitong Chinese Restaurant & Sky Bar, known for its Cantonese and Sichuan offerings; the seafood-focused all-day dining restaurant Sanehh Sarae; and the Japanese-Peruvian Nikkei concept, Den. His responsibilities will span culinary concept development, menu creation, team training, performance analysis, and revenue management.

“Peter is a results-driven and versatile professional with a track record of bringing remarkable projects to fruition, pinpointing sales opportunities, and encouraging positive efforts from his entire team,” said Javier Gimeno, General Manager, Meliá Pattaya. “He will undoubtedly thrive in making our F&B landscape Pattaya’s most desirable place to dine.”
