Tata Starbucks has unveiled its first store at a metro station in India, located at the Western Express Highway (WEH) metro station in Mumbai. This new outlet caters to the needs of busy commuters, offering both quick grab-and-go options and a cozy dine-in experience. The store operates daily from 8 AM to 9 PM.

Sushant Dash, CEO of Tata Starbucks, expressed his enthusiasm for this new venture, stating, “At Starbucks, we are committed to delivering an exceptional coffee experience to consumers. We are delighted to introduce our first metro station store in India, which will meet our consumers at a place convenient to them, through a diversified store format. The store aims to enhance the daily commute for busy travellers and provide a warm and welcoming environment where they can enjoy the signature Starbucks experience in a quick service format through our offerings.”

The store boasts a special counter for quick service, ideal for time-sensitive commuters, and comfortable seating for those who wish to savor handcrafted drinks and tasty food. The menu includes a variety of food and beverage combinations, such as the Picco Cappuccino, Tall Cold Brew with Classic Cinnamon Swirl, and Tall Cold Coffee with Butter Croissant, starting at INR 285.

In May 2023, Tata Starbucks expanded its menu to include Indian-inspired beverages like South Indian Filter Coffee, Masala Chai, Elaichi Chai, and a range of milkshakes. The menu also features bite-sized snacks and shareable food options that reflect local and cultural tastes.

The WEH metro station store aims to provide what Starbucks refers to as a ‘Third Place’ experience—a relaxing spot between work and home where customers can take a break and enjoy meaningful connections. The store's design and offerings are tailored to the dynamic lifestyles of commuters, ensuring a seamless and delightful experience.

Tata Starbucks also offers the Starbucks Rewards and Stars for Everyone loyalty programs at this location, encouraging customers to become part of the larger Starbucks India community. These programs aim to provide added value and rewards to loyal customers, enhancing their overall experience.
