In a strategic move marking its first venture outside Greece, The Azur Selection, a prominent Greek real estate investment company, has announced the acquisition of three distinguished hotels in Cannes, France. This expansion not only signifies The Azur Selection’s growth in the hospitality sector but also its entry into the French market.
The acquisition encompasses a complete takeover of the share capital of Hôtels Du Groupe Boucau, which includes Hotel Cezanne Cannes, Hotel Renoir Cannes, and Hotel Verlaine Cannes. This trio of hotels represents a significant addition to The Azur Selection’s portfolio, further solidifying its position in the luxury hospitality space.
Hotel Cezanne Cannes: A boutique hotel offering 29 rooms and suites, Hotel Cezanne boasts a fitness room and Terraké SPA, which includes a whirlpool, Hammam, and various treatments, catering to guests seeking relaxation and wellness.
Hotel Renoir Cannes: Known for its luxury accommodations, Hotel Renoir provides a range of double rooms varying in size from 20m² to 50m², along with breakfast, bar, and internet facilities, ensuring a comfortable and connected stay for its guests.
Hotel Verlaine Cannes: This four-star boutique hotel features 46 rooms across two buildings, offering a wide array of amenities designed to meet the needs of modern travelers.
Georges Arvanitakis, Chairman of The Azur Selection, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, “We are reaching a significant milestone in our company’s growth journey by preparing to acquire three prestigious hotels in Cannes. This acquisition aligns perfectly with our vision to offer unparalleled experiences and create lasting memories for our guests.”
The acquisition will be financed through a bank loan, demonstrating The Azur Selection's commitment and confidence in this expansion. This move follows the company’s recent acquisition of Azur Volos and Azur Meganisi in Greece last December, showcasing a continuous growth trajectory.
With a diverse portfolio that includes Azur Boutique Hotel, MyMall Mykonos, and Livin Mykonos Boutique Hotel, among others, The Azur Selection is poised to make a significant impact on the French hospitality market, bringing its expertise and vision for luxury and memorable guest experiences to Cannes.
