Hyderabad just got a whole lot more stylish! The Charcoal Project, India’s pioneering luxury interiors and furniture brand by Sussanne Khan, has expanded its footprint with a stunning new 35,000 sq. ft. retail gallery. Nestled in the heart of the city, this six-storey haven is a celebration of design at its finest, bringing together a curated selection of furniture, decor, and art in an immersive, luxury shopping experience.

A Vision of Design Excellence

For over 14 years, The Charcoal Project has been at the forefront of crafting story-rich interiors. Speaking on this grand launch, Sussanne Khan shared:
"After years of designing unique spaces, I found my true calling—to create something extraordinary. The Charcoal Project, Hyderabad, is a labor of love, a space where art, design, and creativity come together. From limited-edition furniture to handpicked objects of curiosity, we can’t wait to welcome you into this world of luxury.”

Gauri Khan Joins the Celebration

Taking the design experience a step further, renowned Interior Designer Gauri Khan brings her signature label, Gauri Khan Designs, to Hyderabad through a dedicated floor at The Charcoal Project.
"Bringing Gauri Khan Designs to Hyderabad is an exciting milestone. Our brand represents refined luxury and bespoke craftsmanship, and I’m thrilled to showcase our exclusive collection in a space that truly champions creativity."

Gauri Khan’s collection features exclusive furniture pieces, fine art, and statement decor. Expect sculptural mirrors with golden frames, elegant living room sets in soft hues, and plush accent chairs in faux fur—a perfect blend of contemporary and classic luxury.

The Sussanne Khan x Janavi Collaboration

A highlight of the launch is the Sussanne Khan x Janavi collection, a stunning fusion of artistry, textiles, and regal aesthetics. As Jyotika Jhalani explains,
"This collaboration is not just about decor—it’s about bringing texture, depth, and storytelling into the spaces we call home."

The collection features rich hues of crimson, blue, and green, blending nature’s beauty with fine craftsmanship. Whether your style is maximalist or minimalist, this collection adds a touch of timeless sophistication to any home.

The Artistry of de Gournay

Adding a breathtaking visual depth to The Charcoal Project is its collaboration with de Gournay, world-renowned for hand-painted wallcoverings. From the majestic ‘River Scenes of Bengal’ to the exotic ‘Amazonia’, each wallpaper tells a story of intricate artistry, transforming interiors into works of art.

A Star-Studded Grand Launch

The launch event was nothing short of glamorous, attended by Hrithik Roshan, Sonali Bendre, Shalini Passi, Bhavana Panday, Neelam Soni, Maheep Kapoor, Kunal Kapoor, Karishma Tanna, Falguni Peacock, and business leaders including Adar Poonawalla and Chirag Parekh. Their presence marked a grand celebration of luxury living and artistic innovation.
