The Hari Hong Kong has officially joined IHG Hotels & Resorts' Vignette Collection, marking a new chapter for the 210-room luxury hotel located in the heart of Wan Chai. The move connects the property with IHG's global distribution network and IHG One Rewards loyalty programme.
The transition follows last month's announcement that The Hari Hong Kong, The Hari London and the forthcoming The Hari Singapore would join Vignette Collection. It also expands the partnership between the Harilela Group and IHG, which has continued for more than five decades.
"The Hari embodies relaxed elegance punctuated by eccentricity, wit, culture and intuitive, heartfelt hospitality," said Dr. Aron Harilela, Chairman and CEO of Harilela Group. "Joining the Vignette Collection preserves The Hari's one-of-a-kind character while connecting the brand to a global community of travellers who value individuality and authenticity.".
Standing 30 storeys tall on Lockhart Road in Wan Chai, The Hari Hong Kong is located in one of Hong Kong's oldest and most eclectic districts. The hotel was designed by acclaimed British interior designer Tara Bernerd and features 210 guest rooms, including three signature rooftop suites, with views of Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, The Peak and Victoria Harbour.
The hotel's dining landscape includes the authentic Italian ristorante Lucciola, contemporary Japanese restaurant Zoku, known for its striking ceiling of angled timber slats arranged in an origami-like form, and The Terrace, an alfresco terrace bar. The Lounge offers an all-day sitting area featuring a collection of books and artworks.
Beyond its hospitality offerings, The Hari Hong Kong has built strong links with art, culture, the local community and sustainability. Its initiatives include The Hari Art Prize, which supports emerging artists, The Hari Chronicles, which encourages conversations around art, design and culture, and "The Hari Neighbourhood Guide Audio Tour", which takes guests beyond the usual tourist routes.
