The Lind Hotels is set to open The Lind Coron in Palawan in 2027, marking the Filipino hospitality brand's expansion into the destination and returning to the place where the company's story first began.
Coron was the location of The Lind Hotels' first property acquisition more than a decade ago and played an important role in shaping the brand's early vision. The company later launched The Lind Boracay before returning to its original plans for Coron.
Over the years, The Lind Boracay has established itself as an internationally recognised hotel, earning several industry accolades and becoming the first hotel in Boracay to be included in the MICHELIN Guide.
The upcoming The Lind Coron will be a villa-led resort surrounded by the limestone formations, turquoise waters, lagoons, and marine life associated with Coron. The resort is designed to allow guests to explore the destination while also providing spaces for relaxation and privacy.
The property will feature 91 rooms and villas, with private villas offering their own dipping pools and dedicated Villa Hosts to provide personalised service throughout guests' stays.
Speaking about the project, Pierre Henrichs, Chief Operating Officer, The Lind Hotels, said, “We have always believed in pioneering rather than following. Coron offers a rare combination of natural beauty and untapped potential. Our goal is not only to be part of its growth, but to help shape its future by bringing a new standard of hospitality to the destination.”
Dining will form an important part of the resort experience, with Yím, the property's signature modern Thai restaurant, and Crust, located at the heart of the Main House beside the infinity pool.
Crust will feature indoor and outdoor seating with views of the sea, serving Mediterranean flavours alongside locally crafted beverages. The venue is designed as a gathering space throughout the day.
The resort will also introduce The Spa Wellness Coron, bringing the wellness brand's holistic treatments to Palawan. The spa is described as the Philippines' first spa brand to achieve Superbrand status and will offer guests a dedicated space for relaxation and wellness.
Adventure and marine experiences will also be central to The Lind Coron. The property will feature its own dive centre, operated by an experienced diving operator, giving guests access to Coron’s underwater attractions, including vibrant reefs and World War II shipwrecks located near the property.
For events and celebrations, the resort will offer a combination of indoor and outdoor venues. The Gallery, an indoor event space accommodating up to 200 guests, will feature panoramic sea views, while The Cove will provide an outdoor setting for gatherings.
At the highest point of the resort, the Roof Deck will offer 360-degree views of the sea, mountains, and surrounding greenery. The space is intended for occasions including wedding ceremonies, proposals, and private celebrations.
Henrichs added, “We aim to create a resort that belongs in its setting rather than competes with it. We want guests to experience the beauty, authenticity and adventure of Coron while enjoying the hospitality and service they have come to associate with The Lind Hotels.”
The opening of The Lind Coron represents the completion of a vision that began more than a decade ago, bringing The Lind Hotels back to the destination that played a foundational role in the brand's development.
The resort is expected to open in early 2027, extending The Lind Hotels' presence in the Philippines while introducing its hospitality approach to Palawan.
