The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Marriott International, Inc. (NASDAQ:MAR), proudly announced the opening of The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas on January 23rd, marking a significant milestone in the brand's expansion with over 110 hotels and resorts globally. Following its acquisition in 2022 through a joint venture between Trinity Investments and Partners Group, the Dallas property has undergone a comprehensive $55 million renovation, ushering in a new era of modern luxury.
Nestled within the picturesque hills of Las Colinas, the hotel's transformation was guided by renowned design firms Jeffrey Beers International and Leo A Daly. The renovation introduced several enhancements, including Bar Juniper, a new lobby bar, and the revamp of 427 guest rooms and suites, alongside new meeting spaces and state-of-the-art ballroom facilities covering 80,000 square feet.
Tod Morrow, General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas, highlighted the hotel's commitment to delivering exceptional service. "We are eager to introduce our guests to innovative offerings and distinctive experiences that forge lasting memories," Morrow stated, emphasizing the property's dedication to setting itself apart as a premier destination.
Located on a former family ranch, The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas spans 400 acres and boasts two 18-hole golf courses, certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. The property's proximity to downtown Dallas, along with The Nelson Sports and Golf Club adjacent to the resort, offers guests a range of recreational activities, including outdoor tennis courts, racquetball, and a world-class fitness center.
Jamie Kerr, Vice President and Global Brand Leader for The Ritz-Carlton, expressed excitement about the property's addition to the brand. "The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas presents a wonderful opportunity to savor Texas' natural landscape while indulging in luxurious accommodations, maintaining access to the city—a unique offering for our guests," Kerr stated.
The hotel's ongoing transformation includes the upcoming openings of Knife Italian, a restaurant concept by Michelin-starred chef John Tesar, and Campo Coffee & Provisions. Additionally, the on-site salon and spa will transition into The Ritz-Carlton Spa®, complemented by a reimagined resort pool featuring luxury cabanas and a new poolside bar.
Set to open in February 2024, The Ritz-Carlton Club® located on the second floor will offer guests a highly personalized experience, showcasing the quintessential flavors of Texas through five daily culinary presentations and exclusive cultural experiences.
