Ms. Sharma began her career at the Oberoi Center of Learning and Development, where her dedication to excellence and passion for customer service quickly set her apart. She spent over nine years in Rooms Operations, working at some of the most prestigious hotels, including The Oberoi Grand in Kolkata, The Oberoi New Delhi, and Trident Gurgaon.

Her journey continued with Marriott International, where she held key positions at various properties such as Marriott Hotels and Resorts in Jaipur, JW Marriott Pune, Courtyard by Marriott Gurgaon, and JW Marriott Hotel Aerocity in New Delhi. Seeking new challenges and opportunities, Ms. Sharma moved to Dubai, serving as Complex Front Office Manager at Marriott Al Jaddaf and Marriott Executive Apartments Complex Dubai.

Upon returning to India, Ms. Sharma took on the role of Hotel Manager and was soon promoted to General Manager of Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel. Her leadership style, characterized by enthusiasm and the ability to inspire her team, has been a driving force in her successful career.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Sharma is an active member of the Women's Ambassador Network, using her platform to empower women in various fields. Her commitment to fostering growth and development among her peers is a testament to her leadership qualities.

Surat Marriott Hotel has announced the appointment of Bishwajeet Kumar as its new executive chef. Kumar brings with him over 23 years of experience in culinary leadership, spanning hotel kitchens, air catering services, cruise liners, and large-scale catering operations. He has worked with reputed hospitality brands such as Marriott International, IHCL, Hyatt, InterContinental Hotels Group, and The Orchid. His most recent role was with IHCL’s TajSats Air Catering in Goa.

With expertise in leading kitchen operations, developing menus, and delivering memorable dining experiences, Kumar is known for his operational precision and creative culinary approach.

In his new role at Surat Marriott Hotel, Kumar will oversee all culinary operations, including the hotel’s signature restaurants, banquets, and in-room dining. His focus will be on diligent operations, consistent food quality, and enhancing the guest experience.
