The Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) organized its Annual Training Partners meet on World Youth Skills Day, bringing together over 100 Training Partners from across the country to promote skill development in the tourism and hospitality sector.
During the event, THSC unveiled its new online Learning Management System, revolutionizing skill training in the industry by providing accessible and interactive learning opportunities. This platform aims to enhance workforce capabilities, raise industry standards, and support career growth for professionals.
The launch of the online Learning Management System is a significant step towards democratizing access to quality training and upskilling opportunities in the sector, according to Rajan Bahadur, CEO of THSC. The platform enables learners from diverse backgrounds to acquire industry-relevant skills and contribute to the sector's overall development.
THSC also presented its Demand Supply Study, analyzing current and future skill requirements in the industry. This study aims to bridge the gap between industry demands and available talent, ensuring a skilled workforce that meets the evolving needs of the sector.
Additionally, THSC unveiled its Biannual Newsletter, serving as a platform for industry updates, success stories, and key initiatives undertaken by THSC and its partners. The newsletter facilitates knowledge sharing and collaboration among industry professionals, training partners, and stakeholders.
The event featured engaging presentations by esteemed partners, recognizing their contributions to skill development in the sector. Outstanding achievements were acknowledged with special recognition and awards, celebrating their commitment to excellence.
