In a strategic move towards premiumization, Tilaknagar Industries Limited (TI), a prominent Indian-Made Foreign Liquor Manufacturer (IMFL), proudly introduces Mansion House Chambers Brandy, a premium variant extending the legacy of its flagship brand, Mansion House.
The initial phase of this premium creation's launch unfolds in Puducherry, India, marking the beginning of an elevated brandy experience. This unveiling aligns with Tilaknagar Industries' commitment to innovation and portfolio diversification, breathing new life into the brandy segment.
Amit Dahanukar, Chairman and Managing Director of Tilaknagar Industries, expressed enthusiasm, stating, "We are immensely passionate about brandy. Our latest premium offering, Mansion House Chambers, is born out of our unrelenting focus on innovation to diversify our portfolio and revitalize the brandy segment."
In the half-year ending September 2023, Tilaknagar Industries witnessed a remarkable 28% growth, outpacing the overall IMFL industry's 3-4% growth, primarily propelled by the brandy segment. Sales volumes surged to 53.6 lakh cases during this period, a significant uptick from the 42 lakh cases recorded in the corresponding period the previous year.
Mansion House Chambers elevates the brandy experience, offering consumers complex fruity aromas and delicate oak notes, resulting in a smooth and velvety texture. The packaging itself mirrors opulence, presented in a meticulously sculpted cut-glass bottle, symbolizing exclusivity, prestige, and luxury.
Ahmed Rahimtoola, Chief Marketing Officer at Tilaknagar Industries, emphasized the company's strategy of addressing market needs with superior products. He highlighted the significance of Mansion House Chambers in establishing price-laddering for brandy, a concept previously non-existent in this category.
This launch follows Tilaknagar Industries' recent introduction of premium products under the Mansion House brand, including India's first premium flavored brandy (Flandy) and Mansion House Reserve French-Style Brandy. In the half-year ending September 2023, Mansion House brand sales exceeded 40 lakh cases.
India stands as one of the largest global markets for brandy, with brandy maintaining its position as the second-largest product segment under the IMFL category, representing over 20% of the total IMFL sector by volume.
As Mansion House Chambers makes its debut in key southern markets, Tilaknagar Industries continues its journey of redefining the premium brandy landscape, offering consumers an exquisite and refined choice in the world of spirits.
