Tivoli Hospitality Group has expanded Omnia Convention by Tivoli in Gurugram, increasing its accommodation and event capacity to cater to the growing demand for large-scale weddings and MICE programmes in the Badshahpur-Bhondsi catchment.
The property, which earlier had 40 rooms and two banquet venues, now features 152 rooms, four banquet venues, four lawns, two poolside venues, six Suites and a second dining destination. The expansion brings accommodation, banqueting, outdoor spaces, dining and leisure experiences together under one property.
Akshay Gupta, Executive Director, Tivoli Hospitality Group, said, "The Badshahpur-Bhondsi belt has been developing rapidly, but there is still a gap when it comes to large-scale venues that can bring together accommodation, banqueting, lawns, poolside experiences and dining under one roof. With this expansion, we are addressing that gap and creating greater capacity for the wedding and MICE business coming into this part of Gurugram."
The accommodation expansion adds 106 new Executive Rooms, each measuring 300 sq. ft., along with six Suites featuring attached living rooms. The existing 40 rooms are also 300 sq. ft. and are available in King and Twin configurations.
The events offering has also been expanded with two new venues. Grand Ballroom II offers an 11,000 sq. ft. indoor venue with an attached lawn and can accommodate up to 400 guests. Omnia Lumina – Glass House features a 7,000 sq. ft. indoor venue with an attached lawn and capacity for up to 250 guests. Both spaces can be used for weddings, social celebrations, conferences, corporate events, networking and cocktail functions.
The existing Grand Ballroom (GBR) and Not The Banquet (NTB) each offer 16,000 sq. ft. of indoor space along with a 16,000 sq. ft. attached lawn. Their capacities range from 300 to 1,500 guests.
With the addition of the two new venues, Omnia now has four banquet venues supported by four lawns. This includes two new lawns measuring 12,000 sq. ft. each, giving the property more options for different wedding formats, conferences, conventions and corporate gatherings.
"The addition of two new banquet venues gives us four distinct formats, supported by four lawns, allowing us to cater to different scales and styles of weddings as well as conferences, conventions and corporate gatherings. Grand Ballroom II offers a more substantial format, while Glass House brings a contemporary, social character to the mix," Gupta said.
The poolside offering has also grown with the addition of Aqua by the Pool, taking the total number of poolside venues to two alongside the existing Aria by the Pool. Aqua is positioned for corporate mixers, networking events, cocktails and intimate social and pre-wedding celebrations.
Dining has received an addition as well with The Pavilion – Coffee House, a 150+ seater outlet serving Indian, Asian and international cuisines. It complements Emerald Restaurant, the existing 100+ seater restaurant offering Indian, Chinese, Italian and Japanese cuisine.
"The expanded Omnia allows us to cater to larger wedding groups and MICE programmes while offering guests accommodation, celebrations, dining and leisure experiences within one property," Gupta said.
The expansion takes Omnia Convention by Tivoli from 40 to 152 keys, two to four banquet venues and one to two poolside venues, while adding four banquet lawns, six Suites and a second dining destination. The move further strengthens Tivoli Hospitality Group's presence in the Badshahpur-Bhondsi and wider Gurugram wedding and MICE market.
