In a thoughtful step towards marine conservation, TSG Hotels & Resorts recently organized a beach cleanup drive at Marina Park Seashore in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, collecting nearly 140 kg of plastic and other waste from the area.

The initiative was led by the dedicated teams of TSG Emerald View Hotel and TSG Grand Hotel, who worked tirelessly for over an hour to remove plastic bottles, wrappers, and other debris littered along the shore. The effort not only restored the beauty of the beach but also served as a reminder of the impact of human waste on marine ecosystems.

What made the initiative even more impactful was the hotel staff’s interaction with the local community. They engaged in conversations highlighting the importance of regular beach cleaning and how it plays a vital role in protecting marine life and maintaining the health of our oceans.

Present at the event to motivate and support the staff were Mr. TSG Bhasker, Managing Director of TSG Hotels & Resorts, and Mr. Chiranjit Das, Corporate General Manager. Their presence underscored the brand’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

This beach cleaning drive is a reflection of TSG Hotels & Resorts’ dedication to sustainable tourism, ensuring that the natural beauty of the islands remains preserved for generations to come. By combining community awareness with direct action, the group continues to lead by example in fostering eco-friendly hospitality practices.
