Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Bengaluru has appointed Ankesh Kumar as F&B Manager, strengthening its leadership team with a hospitality professional who brings over 15 years of experience across food and beverage, banquet operations, pre-opening activities and team management.

Kumar has been associated with ITC Hotels since 2024, having previously held roles at ITC Maurya and ITC Grand Bharat. His career also includes experience with leading hospitality brands such as The Leela, Radisson Hotel Group, IHG Hotels & Resorts and Lemon Tree Hotels.

Prior to joining Welcomhotel Bengaluru, Kumar was associated with The Leela Bhartiya City Bengaluru, where he was involved in banquet operations as well as the pre-opening and operational activities of the hotel and its convention facilities.

During his career, Kumar has also served as a Banquet Manager with ITC Hotels, gaining experience across large-scale events, banquet operations and guest-facing food and beverage services.

His professional experience covers food and beverage management, banquet operations, pre-opening activities, SOP development, menu planning and team management. This combination of operational and guest-facing expertise brings a broad perspective to his new role.

As F&B Manager at Welcomhotel Bengaluru, Kumar will oversee the hotel's food and beverage operations, with a focus on operational efficiency, guest experience, team development and maintaining consistent service standards across the property's F&B offerings.

His appointment further strengthens the hotel's leadership team as Welcomhotel Bengaluru continues to establish its presence within the city's hospitality and business landscape.
