The accolade marks another defining moment for the reimagined flagship hotel, which reopened in September 2024.

Curated by celebrated Italian chef Umberto Bombana, Cannubi brings to Bangkok the philosophy and precision that made his Hong Kong restaurant, 8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana, the only Italian restaurant outside Italy to hold three Michelin stars. At Cannubi, Bombana’s lifelong commitment to exceptional ingredients, terroir-driven cooking and refined Italian traditions takes centre stage.

In Bangkok, this vision is led day-to-day by Executive Italian Chef Andrea Susto, Bombana’s longtime protégé.
