Maharani Opens in Nagpur with Unlimited Indian Dining Experience

Maharani Opens in Nagpur with Unlimited Indian Dining Experience

Published on July 3, 2026

Hospitality entrepreneur Yash Dubey has opened Maharani, a new 200-seater Indian dining destination in Gokulpeth, Nagpur, offering an unlimited vegetarian and non-vegetarian dining experience. Built around the warmth of traditional Indian hospitality, the restaurant aims to bring back the joy of sharing generous meals without worrying about the final bill.

Unlike buffet-style restaurants, Maharani serves an unlimited selection of dishes directly at the table for a fixed price. Guests can enjoy a continuous flow of food throughout the meal without standing in queues or deciding whether to order another dish.

The restaurant is inspired by Yash Dubey's mother, Sangeeta Shivkumar Dubey, whose welcoming approach to hosting guests became the foundation of the concept. Growing up, Dubey experienced a home where guests were always encouraged to eat more, making food the centrepiece of every family gathering.

While his first venture, Toquo Nagpur, focuses on contemporary Asian cuisine and cocktails, Maharani takes a different approach by celebrating Indian flavours, family-style dining, and the spirit of togetherness.

Located at West High Building on W High Court Road, Maharani has been designed for family dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, festive celebrations, and other special occasions. The restaurant is currently open for dinner service.

The dining experience begins with soups and chaats, followed by an ongoing selection of starters, kebabs, curries, biryanis, breads, and desserts served throughout the meal. The menu features dishes including Dahi Ke Kebab, Ajwani Fish Tikka, Mutton Seekh Kebab, Maharani Noor-e-Malai Chicken Tikka, Paneer Butter Masala, Kashmiri Roghan Ghosht, Chicken Dum Biryani, Dal Makhani, along with traditional desserts such as Gulab Jamun, Rasmalai, and Gajar Halwa.

Priced at ₹699 per person plus taxes, Maharani is designed for families and larger groups looking to enjoy a complete dining experience at a fixed cost.

Speaking about the launch, Yash Dubey, Founder of Maharani, said, "After Toquo, a lot of people expected me to open another restaurant in a similar space. Instead, I found myself thinking about the kind of places families actually need. Somewhere you can celebrate a birthday, bring grandparents, cousins, and children together, order freely, and enjoy the evening without constantly watching the bill. The idea for Maharani came from my mother. She has always believed that the best way to welcome people is to feed them well, and that nobody should leave the table hungry. That philosophy became the foundation of everything we've built here. We are beginning with dinner service, but over the next year, we plan to introduce breakfast and lunch as well. If people connect with the experience the way we hope they do, we'd love to take Maharani to other cities over the next two years."

Rather than focusing on a signature dish or chef-led concept, Maharani celebrates a familiar Indian tradition of gathering around the table, sharing food generously, and spending quality time together. With its unlimited dining format and family-friendly approach, the restaurant aims to become a preferred destination for celebrations in Nagpur.

  • Address: West High Building, W High Court Road, Gokulpeth, Nagpur – 440010.
  • Cuisine: Indian
  • Format: Unlimited Vegetarian & Non-Vegetarian Dining.
  • Currently Open: Dinner Only.
