Wyndham Hotels & Resorts hosted the 2025 Eurasia Executive Summit at Ramada Plaza by Wyndham, Lucknow, bringing together more than 150 participants for a day filled with insights, learning, and collaboration. Centered around the theme “Going Places: Navigating the Future of Travel,” the event focused on emerging trends, innovative tools, and strategies shaping the next phase of the hospitality industry.

The summit gathered Wyndham’s hotel partners, general managers, and key suppliers from across the region for engaging discussions and networking opportunities. Sessions included interactive workshops and panels on the evolution of domestic and outbound travel, the changing face of hospitality, talent growth, and how to turn guest feedback into a strategic advantage.

In his keynote, Dimitris Manikis, President EMEA, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, emphasized the growing importance of the Eurasia region as one of Wyndham’s strongest markets. He expressed gratitude to the company’s franchise partners for their continued trust and commitment to Wyndham’s diverse portfolio of brands.

More than 60% of our hotel partners attended the summit for the first time, reflecting the strong momentum and expansion we are witnessing across this region. The day concluded with an awards ceremony celebrating excellence across various categories, including General Manager of the Year, Hotel of the Year (KPI Based), Commercial Performance (KPI Based), Sustainable Hotel of the Year (Level 5 Wyndham Green Hotels), and the prestigious EMEA President’s Award recognizing community impact, growth, and leadership.

The celebrations wrapped up with a festive Diwali evening, where delegates joined the Wyndham team for a night filled with light, laughter, and cultural warmth, a fitting close to a day dedicated to connection and progress.

As the world’s largest hotel franchisor by property count, Wyndham continues to expand across EMEA. In the first half of 2025 alone, its portfolio reached over 720 licensed hotels, marking a 5% year-on-year growth. More than 60 new openings with over 4,700 rooms and 27 new contracts strengthened its presence across key markets. Within Eurasia, 21 new hotels opened during the same period, including Ramada Encore by Wyndham Lucknow Airport, Ramada by Wyndham Cox’s Bazar Kolatoli Beach, and Wyndham Garden Jim Corbett Chhoi, reaffirming Wyndham’s vision of growth through partnership and innovation.

The Institute of Bakery & Culinary Arts (IBCA), a leading centre for bakery and culinary education in India, has announced scholarships worth ₹1,00,000 for students enrolling in its programs for 2026. The initiative aims to support over 400 aspiring chefs from across the country, helping them pursue diploma and certification courses in the culinary field.

The scholarship amount ranges from ₹25,000 to ₹1,00,000, depending on the course and eligibility criteria. Through this programme, IBCA aims to make professional culinary education more accessible to passionate learners.

IBCA offers a wide selection of industry-aligned programs that meet global standards. The courses include an 18-month Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts (Level 3), 18-month Advanced Diploma in Pastry (Level 3), 12-month Diploma in Culinary Arts (Level 2), 12-month Diploma in Pastry Arts (Level 2), a four-month Certificate Course in Pastry (Level 1), along with specialised hobby programs in both culinary and pastry arts. Each course follows an international curriculum and focuses on strong practical exposure.

The institute is affiliated with globally recognised organisations, including City & Guilds (UK), the Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality (London), the Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council (India) and the National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC). With these partnerships, students gain access to structured training, certification and placement opportunities with leading hotels and restaurants.
