Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has taken a major step in its expansion across India by opening its first Wyndham Garden hotel in the country. The Wyndham Garden Sonipat Murthal, situated in Haryana, offers 81 contemporary rooms designed for both business and leisure travelers. This new addition marks the arrival of Wyndham's ninth hotel brand in India, joining over 60 existing properties.
Owned and operated by Rajdhani Realcon Private Limited, a prominent real estate and hotel development company based in Delhi, the hotel is strategically located off NH-44, with easy access to major travel hubs like Delhi's international airport and Sonipat Junction.
As Wyndham's first Wyndham Garden hotel in India, the opening reflects the increasing demand for affordable, high-quality accommodations in the growing National Capital Region. The hotel's facilities include an all-day dining restaurant, lobby lounge, fitness center, spa, swimming pool, and large meeting and event spaces, making it a versatile destination for both work and relaxation.
Dimitris Manikis, President of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA, emphasized that the launch of Wyndham Garden Sonipat Murthal is a key milestone in Wyndham's North India expansion. He also highlighted the role of midscale hotels in meeting the evolving needs of the Indian market, where the rising middle class and improved connectivity are driving travel growth.
With the Wyndham Garden brand already spanning over 160 hotels worldwide, the brand has become synonymous with delivering convenience, comfort, and value. Designed to cater to the growing demand for midscale accommodations, Wyndham Garden hotels provide modern, approachable, and service-oriented stays for travelers seeking a relaxed yet practical environment.
This opening also follows Wyndham's recent agreement with NILE Hospitality LLP to introduce the Microtel by Wyndham brand in India, with plans to open 40 hotels by 2031, further solidifying the company's commitment to meeting the evolving needs of travelers in India.

From coffee culture programmes and destination dining concepts to wellness-led offerings and curated experiences, the focus has been on creating moments that encourage guests to pause, connect and savour the good life."
As it enters its second year, Le Méridien Ahmedabad continues to strengthen its position as a contemporary hospitality destination where culture, creativity and connection come together to offer guests memorable stays in one of India's most vibrant cities.
