Wyndham Garden Jim Corbett, Chhoi has announced the appointment of Vikkas Sharma as the hotel’s new general manager. In this role, Sharma will oversee overall hotel operations, focus on maximising revenue potential, enhance guest experiences, and foster a positive work environment for team members.
Given Jim Corbett’s popularity as a tourist destination famed for its tiger reserve, Sharma will also play a crucial role in promoting Wyndham Garden across key tourism markets.
Prior to joining Wyndham Garden, Sharma served as general manager at Lemon Tree Premier, Jim Corbett, where he managed hotel operations, sales and marketing, and staff development.
Speaking on the appointment, Omesh Bansal, owner of Wyndham Garden Jim Corbett, Chhoi, said, “Vikkas is a talented and experienced hospitality professional and will play a key role in ensuring that Wyndham Garden, Jim Corbett continues providing guests with the same high-quality service and exceptional value that it has become known for in the Jim Corbett community.”
A native of Gurugram, Haryana, Sharma completed his B.Sc from Kurukshetra University in 1995 and went on to earn a diploma in hospitality management from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, New Delhi in 1998.
His rich industry experience and deep understanding of hospitality operations are expected to further strengthen Wyndham Garden Jim Corbett’s position as a preferred choice for travellers visiting this scenic wildlife haven.

Fairfield by Marriott Jaipur Tonk Road has announced the appointment of Gautam Chhabra as its new Hotel Manager. A seasoned hospitality professional with over 14 years of experience with Marriott International, Chhabra brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to his new role.
Chhabra began his career with JW Marriott Chandigarh in 2011 and has since held several key positions across the Marriott portfolio. Notably, he served as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Jaipur Marriott Hotel and played a pivotal role in the pre-opening and positioning of Courtyard by Marriott Aravali Resort. His strong commercial acumen and guest-focused approach have consistently delivered exceptional business results.
Over the years, Chhabra has been recognized with several prestigious accolades, including “Leader of the Year” (2024), “Best Content Creator” at the Marriott Sales Leaders Conference, and multiple departmental awards for revenue excellence.
At Fairfield by Marriott Jaipur Tonk Road, Chhabra will be responsible for strengthening the hotel’s market positioning, enhancing guest experiences, and driving sustainable business growth.

Fairfield by Marriott Sriperumbudur has announced the appointment of Nitin Bhapkar as its new hotel manager, further strengthening the hotel’s leadership team. In this role, Bhapkar will oversee day-to-day operations with a clear focus on operational excellence, guest satisfaction, sustainability initiatives, and financial performance.
With more than 17 years in the hospitality industry, Bhapkar brings a wealth of operational expertise and a deep commitment to service standards. His career reflects a strong foundation with leading global hospitality brands, including Marriott International, Accor, and Taj Hotels.
Before stepping into this role, Bhapkar served as Director of Operations at Four Points by Sheraton Chennai OMR, where he demonstrated effective leadership and sharp operational acumen. His innovative approach, especially in food and beverage operations, has earned him several accolades and prestigious nominations. Earlier in his career, he successfully led the F&B division at Novotel IBIS ORR Bengaluru, managing large-scale operations with distinction.
An alumnus of Sinhagad Education Society’s Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Lonavala, Pune, Bhapkar graduated with first-class honours in hotel management, travel, and tourism. Staying true to his belief that learning never stops, he is currently pursuing a management development programme from the Indian School of Hospitality.
In his new role at Fairfield by Marriott Sriperumbudur, Bhapkar is set to drive growth while reinforcing the brand’s global standards of hospitality. His leadership is expected to position the hotel as a preferred destination for both business and leisure travellers, while also strengthening its focus on sustainability and operational efficiency.
Crowne Plaza New Delhi Mayur Vihar Noida has announced the appointment of Mohit Singh as the hotel’s new Director of Operations, further strengthening its leadership team.
Mohit’s career is a true reflection of IHG’s “Room to Grow” philosophy. Having started his journey with IHG in Food & Beverage leadership roles, he went on to gain wide industry experience before returning to IHG. Most recently, he served as Director of Food & Beverage and Area F&B Champion at Holiday Inn New Delhi Aerocity.
